news to build a better bay area. this is abc 7 inand thanks vmucr joining us. i'm chris nguyen. let's start with the first look at the accuweather forecast. lisa argen has a look at this weekend's hot weather and where there is a red flag warning in effect. good morning, lisa. >> good morning, chris. hi, everyone. we have a significant warming trend going into effect over the next three days and we are seeing the gusty winds in the higher elevations and here's live doppler 7 where there's patchy fog and temperatures are cool at the coast, but in the north bay, winds are gusting already over 45 miles an hour and with the added heat today, relative humidity dropping to anywhere from 10 to 20%.

so those wind gusts could be up to 60 miles an hour and we're adding heat each and every day. also the heat concerns over the weekend as temperatures around the bay 95 to 105 degrees around the bay and near 90 in san francisco tomorrow. tonight will be cool, but the winds will be quite gusty and a beautiful view right here and the sun was up ten minutes ago and 61 in san francisco and mountain view still, and a late sea breeze right at the coast and overall those winds will be an offshore component allowing for those dry conditions. it is 65 in vacaville and 52 in santa rosa. we'll talk details in a few minutes. chris? >> happening now. high-fire danger across the north bay is prompting the red fl and moraga are so high that pg and e announced it is proactively turning off power.

parts of napa and lake berryessa are going dark and suisun city and vacca veil and parts davis and winters are impacted. liz kreutz has more. >> reporter: evacuations have been lifted near the kordellia junction early friday, but as residents begin returning to their homes this is the fire season. >> this is the first. >> it's become the new normal. a red flag warning is in effect through the weekend. >> the upper elevations of sonoma county and it still serves of what's to come this season. >> the santa rosa fire department says they're not staffing up yet, but are taking other precautions. >> we actually moved our engine into a different part of the cty to pre-position it. >> counties across the north bay are bracing for a high-fire danger, pg&e is, too, the utility company starting 6:00

a.m., they will shut off to parts of napa, solano counties. >> because we've seen an increase in wildfires we are taking safety precautions by shutting off the power and to help reduce the wildfire threats. but for some, the planned outables add some concerns. she owns picayune sellers after the financial hit she took two years ago. >> i live also here so on one hand you do appreciate the calling, but from the business point of view, it's very scary and nerve-racking because if we don't have power, you know, none of the equipment work and we cannot really do any business. >> we should mention that calistoga is likely not part of the area of napa county that will see its power turned off today and pg&e is considering turning off power to butte county, specifically paradise which we know is still recovering from the camp fire

meteorologist lisa argen tracking the accuweather forecast. >> gusty winds in the upper elevations and high fire danger rid on through the weekend and into monday and we're looking at those heat concerns as the heat builds tomorrow into monday, but today's going to be a warm day as well and the peninsula expecting low to mid-80s and a look at sfo around 80 degrees and 62 downtown and 54 inosnd lw 50s morgan hill and 48 half moon bay up from 46 and here is the flag flying here in the city. we have offshore winds, but right at the coast, a very weak sea breeze and 52 in santa rosa and mid-50s, petta luma and 55 in the delta and we're looking for the winds to be blowing strong after sunset by 9:00, 10:00. temperatures from 15 to 16 degrees above where we were yesterday 24 hours ago in the north bay so that already is

creating low relative humidity in some of the valleys down to 30%. usually we're at 80% to 90% right now and we're certainly not going in the right direction. a beautiful view of the golden gate bridge. elevated fire danger and looking at temperatures soaring and perhaps record heat into tomorrow and monday. so triple digits will be common. today we're looking at more moderate heat and here's what happens tomorrow. we're getting the gusty winds and not a whole lot of cooling tonight, but enough and with those offshore winds, we've got temperatures in the 70s tonight and tomorrow the heat will build for steamy conditions and 80 in the city and look at what happens on monday, and perhaps in concord and 103 in livermore and we get relief around the bay on tuesday, but not inland. at the coast we'll see those winds pick up and here's a look at santa cruz where it will be 81 degrees today and those winds will be offshore for most of the day, but you have to be all of the day and right at the coast

we'll get the weak onshore component allowing for that 51-degree ocean temperature to allow temperatures to stay comfortable in the low to mid-70s today and that doesn't last as the coast warms up monday. the wind profile and upper elevations are looking at 30 to 40-mile an hour gusts and throughout the afternoon, still breezy and still out of the north-northeast and look at what happens tonight. once again, those gusty winds and the offshore component although the temperatures peak on monday and the winds will be backing off and that's the good news through santa rosa the next couple of days. you should be at 79 and upper 90s on monday and highs around the bay and 82 in richmond. 80 san mateo and 84 for palo alto and looking at 84 san rafael and 93, santa rosa and a warm day around the bay and the seven-day forecast and temperatures continue to climb for the second half of your

napa, but we'll go lower than that. probably about 12%. those winds could gust as much as 60 miles an hour. this is going to back off throughout the day today and then start up again and the winds overnight tonight and so with that, we're building the heat into tomorrow, 95 to 105 degrees around the bay. san francisco could hit 90. so heat concerns for sure and a pretty sight this morning as we look live for sutro and the golden gate bridge and half moon bay and you're at 46 earlier in the 60s from san francisco, and 61 in mountain view and from the east bay hills camera, and the peak, low 90s. it will be relief compared to tomorrow and monday, 62, son thea santa rosa and 55 in vacaville. up to 50 miles an hour in the north bay and looking at the rapid warm-up this morning, chris? >> lisa, thank you. pg&e's top leaders secretly
