defende defenders. probably the guy that got the most heart it's not real the most popular opinion but as a guy who's been with klay for seven years, i don't know many people with as much heart as klay. the way he was playing, as aggressive as he was, you know, he was carrying us. you know, when he went down, obviously we lose a lot. >> when he came back out of the tunnel, did you know it was just to shoot the free throws or did you think cklay was coming back to play some more? >> i knew it was just to shoot the free throws. but with klay, if they would have let him stay out there, he would have stayed. that's just who he is. how many people are going to play with a hamstring injury? no one. like no one does that.

titanium. time for ask adonal. fully hea hea >> no doubt about it. i didn't even think toronto would get past the milwaukee bucks and yet they did. they played really really good defense. but the warriors with all its elements and pieces is the best there is offensively in the game and defensively. >> yeah. just run out of guys, run out of healthy bodies. next question, do you think the chase center can be as great a home court as oracle? >> well, it has a lot to live up to, i tell you that, because this 47 years has been an incredible one and i think that when you as a fan base get to define a building instead of calling it oracle you call it roaracle, that's a lot for the chase center to live up to.

i do hope they continue to be the place we want to go and continue to enjoy basketball at the highest level. >> i know it's going to be a palace. the way it's built, it seems like it will keep noise in and fans will be closer to the court actually, but we won't know until the warriors actually tip-off there. last question for adonal. which warriors role player impressed you the most through the season and the playoffs? >> i'm going to do the reverse which is the player that frustrates me and i think has one of the most potential. that's jordan bell. i just need to figure out how to get him to be more consistent over the course of an entire year. he has all the ingredients to be an exceptional talent but you're not seeing it night in, night out. that will be my project in the warriors organization if i was part of the coaching staff to figure out how do you create a program to get him to understand how valuable and important he is to the team.

i don't know if he understands that yet. >> well, all you have to know is jordan bell started in game one of the finals and tonight he was dnpcd, did not play coach's decision. they've got a lot of soul searching to do with jordan bell. he's an amazing athlete. he's got to get the mind right and the focus right and the dedication right in order to be a player that reaches his full potential. more to come as we continue on "toyota after the game." steph had a rough night. he was doubled, he was tripled. in the end the splash brothers have a premature end to their season.

obviously you're going to need him to find ways. it's hard to do that when you're limited. that was a big difference in this game, >> imagine like at this opponent in the season how difficult it is and how much injuries that every maplayer have that is goi on in the body. i think what's amazing is that toronto figured out they needed to take one of the splash brothers out of play, so they design a defense around him, really beating him, battering bump him. i thought kawhi picked his time when he needed to pick it up. he was right where he needed to be when klay went down. so i felt like he's beenar. i wish -- the one thing i wish is that people will actually

tell you all the injuries a player have during the course of the year and going into the final. when you see the list of injuries that each individual players have, it's incredible. steph has been amazing all year and i think it's just a sad way to leave the year, but he has nothing to be ashamed of. he was incredible. >> all the list of injuries because some of them were catastrophic, with kevin durant most noticelablnoticeably. we have forgotten about steph's dislocated finger on his left hand. i'm sure there's still pain with that. we've got to give nick nurse a lot of credit, the raptors' rookie head coach for devising numerous defenses. smile, everybody. here we go, three, two, one, oracle.

anyway. devising defenses -- it's very tough. you coached for a long time. it's really hard when guys are guarding you like this. it's really tough. do you see this? this is a defensive strategy employed by the raptors. they're still on curry. this is the best defense i've ever played in my life right here. >> that's the most contact i've had in about five years. trying to stay healthy out here. don't hurt me. >> they did what they had to do. you know, the refs, you can't call the foul on every single play. you'll stop the game. >> that's an interesting point because that tactic has been employed by a lot of teams over the years. even steve kerr and i threw a zone out of a zone after three possessions after a timeout that

steph curry continuing to talk with family and friends. he was taking a selfie earlier. if i was as big as steph, i wouldn't even take my own selfies. i'd just have someone else do it for me. anyway, he's just mingling with everybody here. he's had a lot of great moments in this building. i'm sure from the family perspective it's hard to leave especially when you come up a little bit short in the final game of the season. steph was dogged by kyle lowry throughout much of this game. actually, kyle lowry for a guy who's been maligned in the fast for his playoff performances that haven't been tremendous, he was great in this series. and he took it upon himself early on. he was 4 of 4 from three-point range in the first half. toronto got off to 8-0 lead in this game. the crowd is like, are we going to score?

lowry was great. >> he just came out firing. really you're playing with house money. you know you're going back home if you happen to lose this game. there's nothing to lose by not being aggressive. you have to go out and be aggressive. you have to put them on their heels because you can't give the warriors any sense of hope at all. he did a great job setting the tone and obviously was big heading into the end of the first half, giving the raptors the best chance to win the game. >> only five in the second half but one of those jump shots was a fade-away as steph was contesting it. it was huge down the stretch. he hit that one big shot late. >> what i like about the way he played tonight is that you expect them to be nervous. at the end of the day, a game 7, anything could happen. but his mindset was i need to finish this game right now. we cannot give this team any hope. it shows a respect for the warriors, but i think for him with all the stuff that has happened over the years and all the criticism he has received for not being that man, he came

out and he seized the moment and he got his championship. >> the other thing is when you look at the way kawhi leonard walked out here past us after the game, i'm sure kyle lowry said i better do something here early because i don't know what he's got in the tank. >> you have to come out and be aser tifsertiv assertive. he's one of their best players. obviously splitting up the pair, leaving derozan behind in place of kawhi leonard, you feel he would be the all star in this program. he's the face. he's been there the longest. for him to kind of accept kawhi leonard into the program obviously paid big dividends to the point of a championship but he did take it upon himself to start this game off. great team effort by these guys and obviously for a guy that's kind of gone through a lot you've got to take your hat off to kyle lowry. >> one of the things that killed the warriors in the regular season and carried eithover inte

playoffs that they just could not get under control were the turnovers. now, come of them in this series were forced by toronto and some were just gifts thrown to nowhere in particular. >> you saw two of these first three and they're leading to this. that's what's really disappointing are their live turnovers. just passing and catching, simple passing and catching. >> i think that part of the problem is that some of these turnovers were like it's almost over confident the way we play the game, almost lackadaisical at times and careless. it's been one of those things that has been consistent for the entire year. the warriors lost a game during the course of the year, you went to the turnover box and you'd very likely be over 15 or 16 and tonight is no different.
