table. the injuries, the incident with the alameda county sheriff. essentially you have the nba finals. and at least not so small international incident. >> there has to be a morning after. but rarely in warriors land, one with so many questions. the most common conversation i had with everybody was, we were just out of words. we were out of emotion. it was just, as a human being, you can only process so much. >> bob myers today on the last stand at oracle. a drama with plots, sub plots and tragedies. as klay thompson suffered a torn acl in his left knee that will require surgery. one game after kevin durant rimmed his achilles' tendon. >> you're talking about two career altering injuries to two of your best players. back to back finals games. unheard of.

probably never happen again. and so we're in new territory now. >> and continuing along that bizarre path, here are the makings of at least a minor international incident after the raptors president pushed an alameda county sheriff's deputy, hired by the nba, when he tried to go on the court after the game without a credential. the sheriff's department intends to ask the district attorney's office to press charges. by phone, here's alameda county sheriff's the sergeant kelly. >> at the end of the day, you cannot push and shove multiple times a law enforcement officer. we have law enforcement not there to be pushed around but trying to do our job. a little communication would have went a long way in this situation. it's unfortunate. >> this morning in toronto, a jury did not acknowledge it in his twitter feed. >> i hope it gets resolved in

the best way possible. and tron, that doesn't blemish what their accomplishments are. >> reporter: and this is continuing on develop. the nba said today, it is in quakt the raptors regarding this incident and looking into it. the raptors said essentially the same thing. they look forward to resolving the situation. interesting that as we discuss this with sergeant ray kelly, he told us today that they actually held back in dealing with it. they could have arrested him on the court that night for getting into that pushing match but would have made it worse. we asked if he has apologized. he said no. we asked if it would make a difference and they said that would depend on theofficer. >> there's so much going on.
4:04 pm
>> this happens all the time. not to this extent where there is a physical confrontation. shocking because we work so many years together. but i myself have been involved in some of these sort of, short of where that got to. my general rule is the guy with the gun makes the rules. in this case, last night was mass hysteria. because you have a zillion toronto raptors fans in the crowd. it was an unusual situation. last night at oracle. to me it seemed like there was a more than usual, a heavier police presence and they wanted to connect the court. if you don't have your credential, ting by me, that's it. and here's the thing. masai is well known throughout the nba and he's a rock star in canada. nobody knows him here. if he didn't have his credential and he's trying to push his way through, he's in the wrong.
4:05 pm
it shouldn't get to a physical confrontation but the police were trying to do their job. he's trying to get to where he belongs. and it is noisy, crowd, there's so much going on. and like i said, mass hysteria. and you get these little skirmishes. we had two situations with our crews, with security, that fortunately were resolved. when everybody calmed down. it is much ado about nothing. masai should apologize. the officer should say, second and we all move on with our lives. >> we'll see. last tweak nba banned golden state warriors mark stevens from a game after he was seen on camera shoving kyle lowry during game three. stevens was also fined $500,000. now, lowry, you see the picture here. he dived into a row of courtside seats to try to save a loose ball. stevens was seated two seats away and he shoved him in the upper body.
4:06 pm
>> yeah. nba finals. that's for sure. what a journey this has been. an amazing five scenics for the warriors wrapping up their time at organizele. it was so costly because of the injuries and fans are concerned that the future with kevin durant and klay thompson, both having to do serious rehab from their injuries. here's abc reporter amy hollyfield. >> reporter: now that the warriors have made their last game at oracle, is this the dawn of a new era? where better than the breakfast crowd? we stop by norman's grill in castro valley and listened as the opinions flowed. >> my goodness. this is new years and christmas rolled into one for me. >> reporter: this was not exactly the opinion we expected to hear. it turns out some people do have warriors fatigue. >> i like it to be competitive.
