. in the north bay a cal poly student has helped change a 10-year-old burn victim's life. he's given him the gift of his hands. our reporter explains how the prosthetic bionic hands were made. >> reporter: this is the moment he got the use of his hands back thanks to a group of engineering students from cal poly co-led by austin conrad. >> to see his face light up was really cool. >> reporter: that's what drove him to work tire lesley to build a bionic and prosthetic hand. his left hand is essentially fingerless because of a car fire last year.
