but a lot of men, because i don't think it's as attractive as some people do, is that it looks like they focused too much on the wrong things they spend a lot of time maybe without a perspective of what matters. i want to know a man can kick back and eat snacks with me in bed. [ applause ] when you're traveling or something, my first date with max, i'll admit, max was most ripped when i first met him. the first night, we ordered an artichoke dip, he was like, hold the bread to the way tres. i was like, this is never going to work. max, i think i'm getting big. i want the suggestion that you have it if you want it. i want to see the build. but i need it to be soft on the outside. >> also to be honest, i'm not into the rock-type bods.

that goes too far for me. if it's too rip -- >> i would make the exception -- >> it feels compressed and compact. >> i would make the exception for the rock because his personality is so amazing. >> i love you, dwayne. >> have you seen his cheat meals? he posts them on instagram. he puts it out there it's like the size of pizza -- >> okay, first of all, is it me or is it buffet? >> i'm like, fancy, buffet. >> i'm like, are you french? buffe 2? >> keke -- keke teaches me how to undead. and i'm teaching her some iowan. okay. >> come on. >> you know what, i'll tell you this, though, as long as you're happy with your body, i'm happy for you.

if it works for you, if you're confident in yourself, that's good for you. but for me it's like a habit of what i just do. but i eat. that's a great thing. watch this show. i eat. i don't hold back. be comfortable in your own body. there we go. when guys curse, they're okay with it. when women curse, we kind of get the evil like it's not ladylike. i use cursing with my jokes. it makes the joke better. i was thinking to myself, do i curse too much? now that this research has come out, i feel great. >> go ahead. i'm sorry. >> you're right, if you're around someone and you spend other than like in professional situations, but like when they don't swear there's a point where i'm like, something's off here. do you -- i judge them a little bit in reverse. >> you know what, they say also swearing helps you deal with pain as well. like, "training day," when he shot denzel in the butt, he was like, you shot me in -- it helps you deal with the pain. so, i -- i -- i swear. i do.

many of the soldiers died in his arms. when i mow their lawn, they feel appreciated. we need to do more for our veterans. [ cheers and applause ] so, this month's "book report" pick has a great hook, a mother-in-law appears to be murdered and we don't know who did it. oh, just think of the discussions your book club would have with this one. after a couple of glasses of pinot. but the mother-in-law is just a sexy premise. it also illustrates how all of our relationships can be hampered by the way we frequently misinterpret one or other's actions. how feelings for a person changes when you see things through their eyes. it's my pleasure to chat with the woman who wrote this book, please welcome sally hepworth. [ cheers and applause ] >> it's so nice to have you here. >> thank you. >> okay, i have to say this was another little page-turner. i got to ask the obvious question, it's called "the mother-in-law," is your mother-in-law alive and do we need to be concerned?

>> she's alive. she's definitely alive. but i will admit that she was staying with me when i came up with the idea for the book. but it's not what you think. in fact, i get along really well with my mother-in-law. she's fantastic. >> they're rare. i'm just teasing. >> she's one of those, i call her, mother-in-law unicorns. she helps with the children. you know, just generally fantastic. on this particular trip, she and my father-in-law came from australia to the uk to give us a hand after the birth of my third child, and the thing about having a mother-in-law who's so fantastic is that it leaves my father in law without a lot to do. on this trip, he decided it was his mission to help me come up with a book idea. i wasn't looking for a new book idea.

i just had a baby. i had my in-laws staying in my house for sick weeks. i was still thinking about what we were going to have for dinner and that kind of thing. >> sleep. >> and sleep, but he wouldn't let it go. i do love him. but he was really getting on my nerves on this trip. >> he knows secretly this might be the father-in-law -- >> that's the next book. >> it's funny you have actually been pregnant during -- you've written a book during every pregnancy. >> yes. [ applause ] >> yes, so, she's technically birthing two babies, a human one and then a literary one. i'm not very productive during pregnancy. how did that happen? >> i had someone asked me recently, if i can only write a book when i'm pregnant. i said hope not. because i'm done now with the pregnancies, not with the books. it actually kicked off my

writing career with my first pregnancy when i decided that i knew the perfect thing to do with all my spare time. only a first-time mother would say this. during my maternity leave and i was living in canada at the time and being canadians they're very progressive. they're going to pay me for a whole year for maternity leave. >> love the canadians. >> and i thought, i'll write a book and it wasn't as easy as i envisioned of course. because i had a baby to look after. >> was that first book. >> that was my first book and that was the beginning of it. there was another baby during my second pregnancy, i wrote the secret of midwives. first book to be published in english and i have continued to write through another pregnancy and newborns. >> now, do the ideas come to you while you're pregnant? i have had strange dreams during pregnancy. not the same type of literature. was it something that came to you while pregnant?

years, and i still do. it's acne. i battled it and documented it on social media and i remember it got -- i remember it got so bad when i was around 13 or 14, i was at the naacp awards, and did madea family reunion with tyler perry. i was pretty insecure about it. it was obvious to see. he actuaully pulled my mom to the side and said, i'm actually going to pay for you guys to take her to a dermatologist. throughout the years, from that point on, i tried everything. i tried pills, creams, you name it, and i found a system that ultimately worked for me. because everyone's skin is different. but today, we have dr. dendy engelman here and we're going to talk about it and learn more. you're a doctor to the stars. >> yes. do you think that acne s

such an emotional issue for people? >> i think it's emotional, because we can see it. if you have a high blood pressure that doesn't show on your face. the reality is, we have to walk around and show the skin that we're in. in extreme cases it can lead to severe depression. that's why i'm here to talk with you and share these options. >> we're not alone, we're sharing this with one another. i remember my instagram, she reached out after i posted a bunch of videos and photos of mine dealing with it. she's here with us today. can you tell us about your journey? >> so, thank you so much for sharing and being a voice for people who have acne. i've been dealing with acne for over 20 years since i was a teen to present. there have been many highs and lows to the point where i don't want to go to work and do presentations or just go out and have a great time with

friends. because i feel like people are always staring at my face. it's been a challenge with many ups and lows. >> i definitely understand. that's why we have dr. dendy here with us. we're going to talk about it and understand it. we're going to have a little bit of fun with it. follow me over here. we're going to play a game. so, the game is, we're going through some of the acne dos and don'ts. what's true and what's not true. when i mention something like what we have right here, if you guys feel like it's good and it's helpful, i want you to say, hell yeah. if you don't think it's healthy, don't think it's good for acne, hell no. toothpaste. you have heard that before. if you have acne, you put tooth paste on your skin? do you think it helps? hell no. racine, do you think it works? >> hell yeah. >> i can tell you the truth.

racine, soim sorry, honey, you're wrong. toothpaste has a lot of bad ingredients for you. the rule of thumb is, if it's not made to go on your skin, don't put it on your skin. it has ingredients that can dry out and irritate our skin. but the good news is, we have retinoids that are now readily available over the counter. you can buy them online. they don't break the bank. they're only $25. so, now, we've got -- your parents tell you, pop your pimple, put alcohol on it and clean it out. do you believe it helps acne? you said hell no. hea do you think, racine? racine is a little bit
