the city the sun. low 70s later right now in the low 50s to the north, 60 in livermore. and more warmth around the bay. upper 70s to mid-80s by 4:00 p it will be toasty but at the coast, the sea breeze keeps us cool. >> lisa, thank you. breaking news out of frake where the medical examiner has been called to a deadly overnight crash in the bay view district. the violent collision happened at the intersection of third street and paul avenue. it appears a toyota sedan was t-boned by another car at the intersection and the toyota was pushed on to the track blocking h-line tracks last night. we have a message out to san francisco police asking for details about this crash. we will bring you more as soon as we hear back. president trump declayed predawn immigration raids scheduled to start today. it would have targeted up to

2,000 families facing deportation. the i.c.e. raids were planned for ten u.s. cities, including san francisco. here's the reactionol the law bk the way they're doing it is not the right way and consequences will not be good. >> reporter: fra >> reporter: san francisco president dent michael wu shares the sentiments of the deportations. >> the deportations as you call them are a group of very, very good law enforcement people. they came into our country illegally and we're taking them out legally. we're bringing them back to their country. >> reporter: but the professor emeritus at uc hastings clench of the law say the president is being hypocritical. >> let's remember mayor lippy shaft was -- shafted was

excoriated for giving notice to people of impending i.c.e. raids a while back. >> reporter: dr. bee schara thinks postponing the raids at the request of the democrats is put the honus on the democrats and increase is bargaining power. >> you guys now work it out. and if you don't, what i have to do subsequently, if i have to >>eporte in a statement san francisco mayor said raids are designed to, quote, inflict as much fear and pain as possible. but in an interview with abc news, acting i.c.e. director mark morgan says, quote, this is not about fear. no one is instilling fear in anyone. this is about the rule of law and maintaining the integrity of the system. but some political analysts suggest advanced warning put the raids in jeopardy and potentially putting i.c.e. officers at risk. local republicans add the raids only target people who violated

court orders. >> the people being targeted here are people who have already received summons, have been ordered to report and have ignored the summances. >> reporter: keep in mind president trump has deported fewer migrants than president obama did in his early years and despite these raids being postponed, i.c.e. will continue its ongoing operations throughout the rest of the country. in san francisco, abc7 news. ahead of any raids, the national immigration law center is reminding people of their basing rights no matter their immigration status. you have the right to remain silent. you have the right to a lawyer. you may refuse to speak to immigration officers and do not open your door unless an i.c.e. act sho agent shows you a warrant signed by a judge. we have more at abc7news.com. this morning new details emerging about the skydiving plane that crashed in hawaii killing 11 people.

that same plane was involved in a close call? byron. in contra costa county. >> the day it happened, i was here. >> reporter: that day july 23, 2016 when a beechcraft twin engine plane carrying 15 people started barrel rolling through the sky. back then it was preleased by bay area skydiving in byron. a new company took over in 2018 and didn't acquire that plane. the ntsb blamed the erratic flight on pilot error. >> started coming down like this, spinning, spinning. the plane dropped for so many thousands of feet. i don't remember how many. but it was very scary for the people i know on board of that aircraft. >> downed aircraft at the beach park. >> reporter: the same plane from the byron incident crashed friday in hawaii as it carried 11 people, killing everyone on board. >> it starts to flip a reverse, as it starts to decline, decline, decline.

then it kind of skimmed off the trees and smashed down to the floral. >> reporter: it's not clear out the plane ended up in hawaii but sources say it cleared federal inspections before leeaving california. meanwhile, those in the community are struggling with the tragic loss. >> it's hard. we're a close-knit community. i sky dived there before. i know some of the people but hopefully none of the ones on that plane. >> reporter: friends and families are posting heartfelt tributes on facebook. and the ntsb will be combing through the debris looking at engine phal engine phaler or the plane overweight. a 3-year-old boy died after being hit by a parking lot by a truck in san jose on south 24th street and east santa clara street. police say the mother parked and

started to walk into a nearby business. that's when the boy jumped out of the car and into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. the child was taken to the hospital where he later died. the driver is cooperating with police. this is san jose's 23rd deadly crash this year. time now is 6:07. vanle will be held for sacramento police officer tara o'sullivan with her funeral set for thursday in roseville. she was shot and killed responding to a domestic violence call last wednesday. police released video of the officers with their guns drawn knocking on the suspected gunman's door. we must warm you, the video is disturbing. >> you're not in trouble, dude. [ gunfire ] >> and you can hear that gunfire as officers retreat. they also released photos of the weapons they say were found inside the home. skramt yo police chief calls it an ambush.

the suspect is being held without bail and scheduled to be in court tomorrow. in san francisco a woman died during what police think may have been a case of domestic violence. abc7 news was on balboa terrace yesterday. officers found a man with blood on his hands and detained him. they also discovered a woman who was dead. police went to the home after being asked to check on the people that live there. >> there was someone who came to one of the police stations and concerned about some type of domestic violence incident. after they got to the location, they found the two people here. >> reporter: police also surrounded another home a few miles away on alvarado street. they cannot revealed how that home is connected to the woman's death. time is 6:08. it may well be the most technologically advanced outpatient cancer center in the country. tomorrow ucsf will open its door on the mission bay campus tailored to individual treatment

received another injury. it happened yesterday morning and he had to be put down. this is the 30th horse to die ht hollendorfer. the courts ordered him to vacate his 46 stalls at santa anita within 72 hours. hollendorfer's horses were scratched from races today and yesterday by a panel of stewards and veterinarians. hollendorfer told the daily racing forum, i have never been suspended or anything like that. i have a lot of employees i want to take care have families who depend on me. i'm training over 100 horses right now. santa anita didn't want me to stay on the ground. my opinion is it was an extreme thing to do. i thought it was extreme. now i have to step away for a while. today is the final day of the current santa anita meet. it's unclear if its ban will affect santa anita and hollendorfer's ability to race

klei clearer skies inland. numbers are cool in the low 50s san francisco, 50s morgan bay and visibility down to nothing at the coast. you can see the bridge 700 feet just reaching out over the compressed marine layer. 60s in concord, 61 in livermore. another hot day inland. just a few degrees warmer than yesterday as high pressure that is strong, strong ridge of high pressure is still in control. begins to shift to the east. as that does, we're going to see an actual area of low pressure drop down from the gulf of alaska bringing good cooling for the week ahead. walnut creek, lots of sunshine. sunny and hot and comfy at the coast. cooling begins tomorrow. o will take us tou much o

you saw clouds and fog earlier there and as it pulls back from the coast, we will have sunshine at our beaches. temperatures will be in the 60s but tomorrow a lbit of a strongr push as the fog responds to the trough coming down from the north. ait does, it will spread that cooling inland and we will see at least 7 degrees of cooling inland tomorrow and then more significant cooling as we get towards the middle of the week. here's santa cruz just shrouded in the fog. and looking at temperatures in the low 70s there today. mid-60s half moon bay, 68 ocean beach. so we will get the fog and then some sun today. with mid-90s again for concord and livermore. warm is there yesterday on the peninsula. return to the 80s. you were in the 80s yesterday. upper 70s average high for mountain view and in the north bay, it was toasty, in the mid-90s. napa, not quite as warm today. 84 in san rafael, san francisco in the low 70s.

here's the trend as we get to monday. numbers coming down about five degrees inland. 70s around the bay butsday we'r. and by chens chewednesday, chec. cooler oranges and greens. and the warmest day out of the next seven with mid-90s inland, mid-80s around the bay and fog retreating to the coast. upper 60s there. as we look towards monday the heat eases inland. morning fog to afternoon sun for the rest of the week. mornings much cooler. you download our accuweather ach a app you notice for june a little on the cooler side but we will warm it up next week again. pretty nice, not too many complaints about the first weekend of summer.

good morning, and thanks so much for joining us. i'm chris wen. we're off to a cool start across the bay area. here's lisa argen tracking conditions where you link. >> here's summer looking like summer underneath the golden gate bridge. numbers in the 50s. warm day yesterday. making subtle changes to the forecast today. you can see the deck of low clouds here just making it to the tower of the golden gate bridge. beautiful shot. temperatures back into the 70s in the city but it's going to be a while until we get there. cool in the low 50s, santa rosa and concord. look what happens by 10:00, 80s in delta, 70s in oakland and by the time we get towards 2:00, it's mid-80s in our inland valleys. 70 in the city so another nice day with temperatures a bit above average. that sea breeze helps us out at the coast. low 60s by the afternoon and cooler for the week ahead.

was held in houston, texas. she's the 4-year-old girl who disappeared and was later found dead. our sister station abc 13 got ahold of the program that honored the girl. photos of a very happy maleah lines the pages. the program contained a letter written as if it was written by maleah herself. her favorite little pony rainbow dash was on the casket. >> we put her on rainbow dash where she was riding rainbow da dash. >> terry bears a teddy bears ar collected to be donated. the mother's ex-fiancee is arrested in connection to the girl's disappearance. the southern california family thought they had a perfect tiny home to start a life, even agreeing to be on a

tv show about it. now they discovered the home they thought belonged to them did not and now it disappeared. >> we want to welcome you officially to tiny house! >> reporter: a small dream that currented into a big nightmare for rebekah and ben richards. >> they put their big fancy tv show on and everybody's watching it and they're benefiting from everybody watching and we're out of pocket all of our money and we don't have our tiny house. >> reporter: it all started when the couple decided to move their young family from to nashville, tennessee. they wanted a home they could asford and mike bedsole who sold them an idea based on the tiny moment trend. one keyoing that, the trailer on which their home would sit would be paid for by the tv show. however, there was a crash. >> the builder said wie were no

able to accept the trailer from the tv show, we had to go with his supplier. >> reporter: receipts and emails show richards paid $11,500 for the trailer. >> the expectation is registered the title in our name or documentation to register the title. >> reporter: as the episode went into production, the richards say they were still trying to secure financing, which almost put the brakes on going forward. >> he said that as long as we paid for the trailer in full, that he would commit to doing the tv show and guarantee to having the home completed by filming. >> reporter: after the home was finished and filming wraps, they said the home still needed some major fixes. so it went back to bedsole's workshop and with nowhere else to live, the family moved into it. that's when they asked bedsole for a final quote. do it. some reason, he wouldn' >> mike, you need to answer our questions. >> reporter: the richards say they confronted bedsole after they learned he was being

evicted from the property. >> you're being evicted from the property for being five months late on your payments. and so this house needs to be moved from the property. so what are we supposed to do with everything in the house? >> reporter: weiss news contacted the property owner who confirmed bedsole was evicted and still owes them $30,000. soon after their confrontation with bedsole, the richards learned the home they thought was theirs turned out did not belong to them. >> we spoke to the lawyer who said if you move the house, we'll have you arrested for stealing. we said what are you talking about? he said you don't own the title to the house. >> reporter: richard says bedsole put the trailer inthe property. >> we had written to the builder, where is our tiny house? no response at all. >> reporter: three months later the show airs only by that time they have no idea where their home is.
