where some of you will just be near 60 degrees with the clouds. in between should be pleasant. today is the warmest day out of the next serve. chris? san francisco police say two people were killed in a car collision at 1:15 at the intersection of third street and paul avenue. police say a man died at the scene. a woman was rushed to sf general and died there. another victim was take tony the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. one of the cars was pushed on to the muni metro tracks almost hitting a t line train leaving the platform. president trump delayed immigration raids that were scheduled to start today. the predawn operation would have targeted up to 2,000 families facing deportation. the i.c.e. raids had been planned for ten major u.s. cities, including san francisco. we have reaction to the change. >> yes, you have to follow the

to increase his bargaining power. >> you guys now work it out. and if you don't, then what i have to do subsequently, you know, if i have to deport a bunch of people it is your fault. >> reporter: the san francisco mayor says the raids are designed to quote inflict as much fear and pain as possible. in an interview, the acting i.c.e. director says this is not about fear. this one is instilling fear in anyone. this is about the rule of law and maintaining integrity in the system. but some suggest advance warning put the raids in jeopardy and potentially put i.c.e. officers at risk. local republicans adds the raids only target people who violated court orders. >> these people have already received summonses, have been ordered to report and ignored the sum unss. >> reporter: keep in mind, president trump has deported

fewer migrants than president obama did in his early years. despite the postponement of the raids, i.c.e. will still be operating across the country. people are reminding people of their basic rights no matter their immigration status, you have the right to remain silent, the right to a lawyer, you may refuse to speak to immigration officers. do not open your door unless an i.c.e. agent shows you a warrant signed by judge. more information is on our website. this morning, new details are emerge being the sky diving plane that crashed in hawaii killing 11 people. the same plane was previously involved in a close call in contra costa county. we have the details. >> i was here in the afternoon. >> reporter: that was july 23rd, 2016 when a beach craft twin air twin engine plane carrying 15 people started barrel rolling

through the sky. it was leased by a different company. a new company took over in 2018 and acquired the plane, the ntsb blamed that flight on pilot error. >> the plane sprint cup and dropped i don't know how many feet. they were squarer scary for the people on board the aircraft. >> downed aircraft here. >> reporter: the same plane from the byron incident crashed friday in hawaii as it carried 11 people, killing everyone on board. >> it starts to flip and reverse. as it starts the decline, tee klein, decline. then it kind of skimmed off those trees and smashed down to the floor. >> reporter: it is not clear how the plane ended up in hawaii but sources say it cleared federal pgs ins before leaving california. those in the sky diving community are struggling with this loss.

>> it is tragic and hits close to home. we are kind of a close-knit community. i sky dived in hawaii before. i know some of the people down there. hopefully none of the ones that were on that plane. >> reporter: one of the men on the plane was this dye sky dive instructor. friends and family are posting messages on facebook. the ntsb will be investigating the crash. time now is 9:07. in the south bay a 3-year-old boy died after being hit by a truck in a parking lo in the san jose. the accident happened yesterday morning near the corner of south 24th street and east santa clara street. police say the boy's mother parked and started to walk into a nearby business. that's when the boy jumped out of the car and into the path of to an oncoming pickup truck. the child was taken to the hospital where he later died. the driver is cooperating with police. this is san jose's 23rd deadly crash this year. a vigil will be held tonight

for sacramento police officer tarao sullivan with her funeral now set for thursday in roseville. she was shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call last wednesday. police released bed camera footage of officers with their guns drawn knocking on the suspect's door. >> you are not in trouble, dude. [ gunfire ] >> you are hear the gunfire as officers retreat. they also released photos of weapons they say were found inside the home. they call the shooting an ambush. the suspect is being held without bail and scheduled to be in court tomorrow. in san francisco a woman died during what police think may have been a case of domestic violence. abc news was there yesterday. officers found a man with blood on his hands and detained him. they discovered a woman who was

hall of fame horse trainer with ties to the bay area has been banned from santa anita and golden gate fields after another horse suffered a fatal injury. jerry hollendorfer's horse american currency was injured on santa anita's infield training track yesterday morning and had to be put down. this is the 30th horse to die at

the track since december. four of the horses belong to hollendorfer. the group which owns both santa anita and golden gate fields ordered him to vacate his stalls at santa anita within 36 hours. his horses were scratched from races today and yesterday by a panel of stewards and veterinarians. he told the daily racing form i have never been suspended or anything like that. i have a lot of employees i went to take care of who have families that depend on me. i am training over 100 horses right now. santa anita isn't want me on the grounds. my he feeling is that was a premature thing to do. now i have to step away for a while. it is unclear if this will affect his ability to race at los alamos next season or at del mar which begins its summer

season on july 17th. three east bay businesses are red tagged after a fire tore lieu three buildings. the massive inferno happened at east 14th street and georgia way in san leandro. cornell barnard has the details on what is next for the business owners. >> this fire has gotten way worse. >> reporter: the three alarm fire tore through this upholstery shop and soon half the city block was burning. >> wow. >> yelling fire, fire. >> reporter: clive barnes owns sweet fingers jamaican restaurant. his place suffered damaged, one of three businesses to be red tagged. >> i am giving thanks for life, i am alive. >> reporter: it took almost four hours for firefighters to get the fire under control. now investigators are looking for a cause. >> as we peel back the layers of

they thought belonged to them doesn't and has disappeared. we have the story from los angeles. >> welcome you officially to the tiny house. >> yea. >> a small dream that turned into a big nightmare for rebecca and ben richards. >> they put their big fancy tv show on, and everybody is watching it and they are benefiting from us being on the show. now we are out of pocket all of our money and we don't have our tiny house. >> reporter: it all started when the couple decided to move their young family from sierra madre to nashville, tennessee to follow ben's music career. they wanted a home they could afford and found this builder who sold them on the idea of participating on a tv show based on the tiny home trend. one key advantage to doing that, the trailer on which their home would sit would be paid for by the tv show. however there was a catch. >> the builder said we were not able to accept the trailer from

the tv show that we had to go with his supplier. >> reporter: receipts show they paid $11,500 to for the trailer. >> our understanding was he was registering the title in our time. he requested all the information to register the title. >> reporter: as they went into production, the richards say they were trying to secure financing which almost put the brakes going forward. >> he said as long as we paid to paying for the trailer in full we would continue to do the sv show. >> reporter: after the films wrapped they said the home still needed major fixes. so it went back to becksel's workshop. with nowhere else to live, the family moved into it. that's when they asked bed cell for a final quote. for some reason, he wouldn't do it. >> mike you need to answer our question. >> reporter: the richards say they confronted bed cell after they learned he was being evicted from the property. you are being evicted from the

property for being five months late on your payments. and so this house needs to be moved from the property. so what are we supposed to do with everything in the house? >> reporter: eyewitness news contacted the property owner who confirms bed cell was evicted and still owes them $30,000. soon after their confrontation with bed cell the richards learned the home they thought was theirs did not belong to them. >> we spoke to the lawyer and he said if you move the tiny house we will have you arrested for stealing. we said what are you talking about? he said you don't own the title. >> reporter: bed cell put the trailer in his name shortly after it disappeared from their property. >> no response at all. >> reporter: three months later the show airs. only by that time they have no idea where their home is. yesterday the richards say they found it listed on a real estate site going for $148,000.
