new developments in freeway shooting in the south bay. suspect identified as man killed by park rangers in big sur last weekend, kevin alaniz was killed. investigating he shot at hikers on a trail earlier that evening. when officers found him, say he refused to put hands up, walked toward them and pulled out a gun. warrant out for his arrest for shooting in milpitas earlier this month. matthew rios was killed in what police say was targeted attack. group of thieves smashed into a walgreens and drove away with the atm. east 3rd afternoon just before
