upper 70s and low 80s in the area. we are looking at a typical pattern. not warming up too much inland valleys. police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead. it happened just after 1:00 this morning an geary boulevard and fillmore street. officers arrived and tried to save the victim but were unsuccessful. police say the suspects are two men who drove away after the shooting. developing news out of contra costa county. the chp says one person is dead and multiple people injured after a crash in orinda in the west bound lanes of highway 24 near wilder road. the crash closed all lanes for nearly three hours. they have since reopened. developing news, president trump has become the first u.s. president to step into north korea, reaching across the dmz to shake hands with leader kim jong-un. president trump also exndn

francisco for the city's annual pride parade. cornell barnard is live at the staging area this morning. cornell, people look forward to this event throughout the year, there really is something special about it. >> reporter: there is, chris. good morning to you, and happy pride. it won't be long now before the world famous san francisco pride parade starts wrong right here down market street. it is an amazing site, really is. up to a million people are expected to be here today. we are seeing some spectators claiming prime viewing spots along the route. here are the dikes on bikes. they are getting ready to rev their engines. they will lead the parade like they do every year. this is video from last i don't remember's parade. this year's theme is generations of resistance. it has been 50 years since theo raided the new york gay bar and patrons resisted. many believe that was the flash point for the gay rights movement. a milestone which is not lost on

celebration are allowing google employees who wish to protest the company's lgbtq policies to march asar of an official presence. according to the on line publishing platform medium employees can march in an official capacity as guests of an official group known as the resistance contingent. more than 100 google employees submitted a petition. they say the company's refusal to remove homophobic content from you tube is detriment to the community. this is the parade route on your screen. several streets including market are blocked off. it starts at 10:30 a.m. supposed to wrap up at 3:00 however traffic could remain heavy with all the people expected to attend. we have a full schedule of events on our website, abc7 news.com. you will find transit options

and traffic updates. two deadly incident. voing smart trains in runner park. the head of smart wants to increase safety measures. a train hit and killed a man on a bicycle friday mornin at golf course drive and roberts lake road. that's the same location of a deadly incident on thursday, and the third there in the last year. investigators say survey loons video of friday's incident shows the bicyclist riding on the wrong side of the street. thursday's incident involved a pedestrian what walked under a gate crossing arm. they are looking into possibly hiring more safety officers. firefighters are keeping an eye on a condominium complex that was under construction after it was ravaged by fire in santa clara. crews from dousing water onto hot spots yesterday morning at the site of the fire near el camino real and scott boulevard. fire investigators were also at

news. police haven't identified the driver who died. they are still searching for the other driver involved in that street race who did not stop after the crash. investigators a to come forward. time now, 9:14. new information about the 2-year-old boy who died after visiting the san diego county fair. he and three other children were sickened with e. coli. relatives identified the boy to abc affiliate in san diego kgtv. the family has set up a go fund me page for jed diaa, relatives say he was a happy boy and always laughing. they told reporters he suffered stomach pains four days after visiting the petting zoo despite washing his hands directly after. he was in and out of the hospital four days before dying on monday. we have more on how the fair is responding. >> reporter: this morning the petting zoo and other animal exhibits at the san diego county fair are shut down after a

2-year-old boy who visited was infected with e. coli and died. >> families shouldn't have to worry about that. you are there to have a good time. and this just is really, really sad. >> reporter: jed dia visited the fair on june 15th. aerise petting he washed his zoo but still got sick. health officials saying a rare complication from the infection killed the toddler nine days later. >> our hearts and our prayers and our thoughts go out to the family. >> reporter: inspectors testing all areas of the fair, determining the bacteria likely came from one of the animal exhibits. >> unfortunately when you have livestock or animals there is a potential inherent risk. >> reporter: health officials say three other children between 9 and 13 showed e. coli symptoms. in two of the cases the children did not wash their hands after being around the animals at the fire though there were signs as

well as soap and water stations. >> it is important when you attend any event that involves animals to wash your hands. >> reporter: to keep yourself and your family safe from e. coli, the cdc suggests leaving strollers outside building housing animals, and avoiding sitting or playing inside of exhibits. the rest of the fair remains open. official say the other children who were infected are recovering. marcy gonzalez, abc news los angeles. in the north bay a thief made off with thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes. surveillance images shows the suspect at a texaco station on petaluma boulevard on friday night. the owner says the suspect grabbed a display rack with 30 karns and took off. that's about a $3,000 value. after nearly 50 years of selling bicycles of all shapes and sizes in downtown san mateo a beloved mom and pop shore is

but we are looking at the marine layer keeping the coast cool it is due to the upper level surface temperatures, compliments of this low. they are cool, and we are not having a big inversion. because of that, we have just got some patchy fog. but we certainly have it at the coast. we are sunny inland and looking at san jose receipt now where temperatures will be comfortable, in the upper 70s. 6 approximate in morgan hill as well as san jose. 55 downtown. 61 in oakland. and on the coast just 57. for mount tam, you can see the marine layer entrenched here through the valley looking at the breezy winds picking up throughout the afternoon in marin county and of course in the city. 60, santa rosa. 61 in napa. upper 60s, fairfield. concord is at 67. livermore, 64. feeling pretty good had the east bay valleys. in the mountains, low 60s for you. blue canyon, 52 for you at truckee. later on today 75 at south lake. cooler conditions monday.

he had just received the phone from at&t to replace a broken one. this one wasn't working right. >> we took it in and this he said the microphone is not working. >> reporter: he made another claim for another phone through his at&t insurance. all he had to do was mail in the defective phone. >> i packaged it up, took it to the main post office. >> reporter: and two days later he received a new phone. problem solved until he saw his next at&t bill. >> the charge is going the stand. >> reporter: they charged him $869 for the defective phone saying he never returned it. >> i called them up. >> reporter: he provided the tracking history. it shows the package was indeed delivered back in february. the company's reply, a shocker. >> they said the box was empty, that i -- they said i returned an empty box. >> reporter: curt says he spent hours on the phone assuring at&t he did put that phone in the box. no one was believe him.

we have contacted the warehouse, there was no phone in the box, it was an empty box. i said this is ridiculous, i felt like i was being treated like a criminal. >> reporter: he tried to imagine what he could have done to avoid being accused. take a picture of the phone in the box snoor. >> they would say you took the phone out of the box after you took the picture. imagine if amazon told their customers all the products they returned were in fact empty boxes. >> reporter: moo didn't sway at&t. >> my wife suggested i go to michael finney 7 on your side. >> we contacted at&t and asked how someone can avoid such an accusation. it said only we encourage our customers to ensure their return items are securely sealed before sending, which curt did. hoever, at&t has agreed to wave that $869 fee after all. >> i am very thankful for 7 on your side. >> reporter: when you ship an

an update on developing news out of contra costa county. two people are dead and five others injured after a crash in orinda. it happened just before 2:00 this morning in the west bound lanes of highway 24 near wilder road. all lanes were shut down for nearly three hours but they have since reopened. happening today, everything must go. the biggest movie prop house in
