morning. we'll stay in the 50s. a few 60s as the clouds thin a little at the coast today but not quite as warm as our noon and 4:00 numbers for our bay and inland numbers where we are in the low to mid-70s. back down in the mid-60s at the bay, and mid-70s inland by 7:00. we are looking at a quiet north bay commute. everybody is moving through without any issues here. we have a nice and clear commute for you here this morning. only one mass transit issue so far today. we have a minor delay, about ten minutes on the san francisco line for bart righters this morning in the antioch and dublin and pleasanton directions, they had an earlier problem that has been fixed and normal service is resuming. we want to take a look at a situation that happened earlier this morning in the south bay. a driver is in the hospital after his vehicle flipped over and went off the roadway along 101 in san jose. it happened on southbound 101 around blossom hill road around

2:40 this morning. the highway patrol is trying to figure out what caused the collision. a 14-hour long scare over a suspected hazardous package at facebook this morning is clear. and these are pictures showing the overnight work to remove the hazardous package. it was delivered to facebook's mail facility yesterday morning. hazmat crews finally recovered the package overnight. amy hollyfield is tracking the story and we will have a live update at 6:30. and capitol hill democrats are blasting what they call tats at t border. >> days ago congress approved a massive

flames broke out last sunday night on mission boulevard, and a woman fired a flare at a man during an altercation, and that flare missed the man and landed in dry brush and ignited the fire. the fire burned five acres and forced there 30 residents to evacuate. some neighbors say they are dreading a fourth of july tradition. >> they hate the illegal fireworks that go out they say every night this time of year. there's a new program to help with the illegal use, and the challenge is getting close enough capture adequate proof. >> it's ridiculous to ask citizens to go o the police say

yellow. westbound 84, if you want to take dumbarton bridge as an alternate, that's half-time in the green at ten minutes. developing news from facebook headquarters, a suspected hazardous package scare over. >> facebook gave the all clear this morning. abc7 news reporter, amy hollyfield live at menlo park with the details. >> reporter: the test results have been released from the package saying nothing was hazardous. life here can return to normal. there was a long ordeal for everybody involved. look at the pictures they released overnight of the emergency crews decontaminating themselves. a package had been reported as possibly having sarin in it and the building was immediately evacuated. the call came in at 11:00 yesterday morning and it was not

until 1:00 this morning they that removed the package from the building. there were reports that two people possibly had been exposed to the chemical that turned out not to be true, and it turned out there was nothing hazardous in the package. a good outcome here after a very thorough and careful response. reporting live in and then one person dead and two in the hospital after a car hit pedestrians at the international terminal. a ford expedition accelerated away from the curb before hit twog mhiting two men and a woman. one man died at the hospital. police say the driver is cooperating and investigators say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor. we know the name of the driver involved in a deadly crash in oakland that police believe happened during a street race. you will see a car flipped over

and it slammed into a pole on san leandro street on saturday. the driver was a 34-year-old stanley reese. there's no word on where he lived. police want anybody who saw the crash to call them. developing news out of oakland this morning where police are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl. she disappeared after leaving her home to meet an online friend. her family says she left around 4:00 a.m. yesterday, and they think she may be traveling to reno or texas. if you have any information about her you are asked to call the oakland police. and two residents are dealing with a heartbreaking loss after thieves stole a trailer with a lot of their personal belongings. the two said they always dreamed of living in the bay area, and so they sold their home in florida and packed their items in the trailer and the trailer disappeared last thursday. >> my whole life was in there.

airlines i flights from oakland to dallas ft. worth because of the max jetliners. flights on the route will be suspended from this saturday to september 4th. meanwhile southwest is re-evaluating its flight schedules for the rest of the year because a new safety issue with the max jetliner. all of its 34 max jets are grounded because of the flight control glitch linked to two deadly crashes. inspectors discovered the new issue last week while testing a software fix. fixing the new problem could take three months boeing says. and then people recovering from last year's wildfires are going to hear more of this.aos enforce noise limits in coffee park, fountain grove and other neighborhoods devastated by fire. new rules will let contractors
