no metering lights. i think we will make it through without flipping those on. they all look like great options. a check of drive times, in the green all the way around. almost unbelievable. 21 minutes westbound on 580, tracy to dublin and concorde, 14 minutes. and san rafael to san francisco, no delays, coming in at 17 minutes. we had a serious crash overnight in the east bay. let's get to our reporter for the latest. >> reporter: good morning. in a few passing minutes we learned this is a fatal accident dublin police are investigating. 'm told a driver hit a light post and the driver and his passenger were both killed on scene. you can see dublin police on scene and firefighters on scene. also at the corners, officers came and left. i will show you a short video.

this accident happened sometime around midnight. this is a residential area of east dublin. it's about 45 miles an hour, reduces to 25 on some of these smaller streets. speeding has often been a problem up on fallon road. we don't know if speed was an issue in this situation or drugs and alcohol. dublin police are investigating this as a fatal accident. more coming up throughout the rest of the morning. reporting live, abc7 news. >> thank you. working to free a driver in an infinity after a crash in san jose. it overturned after hitting two other cars and a tree, right on the san jose campbell border. paramedics took at least one person to the hospital and they're trying to figure out who was at fault. they haven't said if drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash. and wildfires burning on the

edge in san joaquin county, bunk southwest of tracy. yesterday they shut down tess ler road and crossroad. so far 283 acres have burned and it is 50% detained and cause under investigation. police have released this dramatic surveillance video showing what happened inside the shops at tanforan. and you can see people running for cover as shots were fired and taking us step-by-step. >> it's 3:55 in the afternoon. on the second floor of the mall you can see a group of people running. people circle a suspected shooter with a gun and see him point the gun as he goes out of frame and someone falls to the ground and people start running. at the top of the screen, people focus on a second person with a gun. stops in front of an elevator and fires multiple shots.

more than a dozen people including a child run for cover. two teenage boys were shot and both expect tod make full recoveries. two other people at the mall suffered injuries. the suspects have not been found and police are still sorting through the massive evidence. two army recruiters are being recognized for their efforts to help the victims. while most people were running away as shots rang out, two men ran towards the chaos. staff sergeant isaiah locklear took off his shirt to put pressure on one wound and staff sergeant michael morrow was asked to help a second victim shot in the leg. >> i applied pressure and thankfully the police department was quick to respond. >> i rolled him over and noticed the gunshot wound went through the stomach and came out the back. >> a third person inside the recruitment office was young, an
