we are back with dramatic video of an explosion at a fireworks store in fort mill, south carolina. look at this show. that fire started in containers outside the store. the containers had dozens of cardboard boxes holding fireworks. firefighters had to dodge exploding rockets to put out the flames. amazingly, no one was injured. an investigation into the cause of that fire is under way. imagine the firefighters as they had to go into that. >> just incredible there. turning now to a case of mistaken identity at a chicago hospital that ended up turning tragically fatal.

>> one family made the heartwrenching decision to remove a critically ill man from life support who police told them was their brother. >> that man was someone else entirely. here is alex perez. >> reporter: the chicago man was badly beaten and found unconscious by police, hospitalized and on life support. authorities used mugshots in may to determine he was rosie brooks' missing brother, alfonso bennett. she immediately told doctors something didn't seem right. >> i said, doc, i understand what you're saying but i cannot recognize him as my brother. >> reporter: showing no signs of improvement, brooks and her family made the excruciating decision to take him off of life support. but as they prepared for his funeral, alfonso bennett, very much alive and well, walked into a friend's barbecue. >> he said, he's here, he's alive. >> reporter: it turns out the missing man was actually elijah britman. fingerprints from the morgue eventually revealing his true identity.
