get cooler, and it was way off the strip. in the desert. it was a little shack out in the desert. but the hottest i ever been was in dubai. i went out there in the middle east. i thought vegas was hot. i went out there to play golf one time, and i had the whole golf course to myself. but i didn't know it was the hottest time of the year, nobody was golfing. >> jimmy: right. >> that's first time i realized that black people can get sunburned. >> jimmy: wow. >> because i had a tank top on, my shoulders were messed up for months. so i wear suntan lotion every time i'm in the middle east. >> jimmy: you own a comedy club. i'm opening a comedy club. >> congratulations. >> jimmy: i've never done anything like that before. how did that go for you. >> don't have your family working for you in the comedy club, because my family worked

for me in the comedy club. the club wasn't making no money, but everybody had new cars. my brother was drinking up all the inventory, i got to try this stuff, man. >> jimmy: how long did it last? >> about a year. that was it. >> jimmy: who made the call to shut it down? >> i did. i wasn't making no money, this was going to mess up my movie money. >> jimmy: were they upset with you? >> my dad was upset, he was the cook. he said what am i going to do now? i said be my daddy! >> jimmy: the last time you were on the show i think we talked about your son who is how old now? >> he's 20, about to be 21. >> jimmy: so will you give him a big las vegas 21 year old party? >> he wants to come to vegas. he wants to come to vegas, but what he don't know is i'm coming with him. i'm going to be watching him behind slot machines. i'm going to tell waitresses, don't give him no beer, take him some milk. that's my baby! watch out for him, please! >> jimmy: are you still like

that at this age? >> i'm bad. i'm one of those detective dads. >> jimmy: that's good. there's nothing wrong with that. does he find it annoying? >> no, i think he's cool with it, because i'm rich? i don't though. >> jimmy: uh-huh. >> maybe that's why he really loves me, i don't know. >> jimmy: i'm going to throw a hypothetical situation at you. let's say your son's getting married maybe, who knows, ten years, whenever it is. and there's a bachelor party and he and his friends, and they have a bachelor party and they say we're going to go to a strip club together. would you go with your son to the strip club >> i'm going to be there. i have to show him what not to do. i'm going to be there for him to make sure he can handle his own. >> jimmy: that will be a very special moment between father and son. >> this is not worth it, you're losing too much money here.

we're going to be broke in a minute. >> jimmy: so you're going along to ruin it for him, basically. you love living here in las vegas? >> i love it because people come from all over the world. i bought a house because i wanted to be here. i knew everyone was coming from all over the world. now i'm performing tomorrow night at the encore. >> jimmy: what time is the early show? >> like 7:30 and a 9:40 show. the difference is, 9:40, everybody's drunk already. jokes are easier then. 7:30 everybody's still, they sober. so you got to work harder. >> jimmy: you do. so the late show is the fun show? >> the late show is the fun show. that's funny, smoky! how about your movie? "rush hour", where jackie chan at! jackie doing rom-coms, i think.
