florida. same thing as last week. my husband and son got caught up in that yesterday too, flying to florida. and i'm like, maybe flying to florida over the summer is tough because of the storms. >> again, safety first. >> absolutely. >> it's so hard for people to pack their patience when they're sitting there on a plane. >> if you board the flight and you're like, here we are sitting. this morning we're hearing more about the terrifying encounter involving a family of four from new jersey. >> they were camping all asleep in their tent when a wolf burst in. it's a nature lover's dream. banff national park in canada with its crystal clear lakes and snow-capped mountains. but the dream camping trip there turned into a nightmare for the risboli family. they were sleeping in their tent when a wolf attacked. mom alisa writing on facebook, matt literally threw his body in front of me and the boys and fought the wolf as it ripped apart our tent and his arms and hands.

we were screaming for help as he was fighting it and trying to save us for what felt like an eternity. the wolf started to drag matt from the tent but help was nearby. >> i just kicked it in the back half. >> reporter: alisa on facebook thanking their guardian angel, russ fee, who was in the campsite next to them. >> i was able to pick up a rock and we were able to sort of lob rocks at it for a while. that seemed to push it back quite a bit. >> reporter: the wolf let go of matt but kept following him as the family ran to russ' van. >> i was trying to assess how much trouble i was in. i wasn't too sure if it was going to come at me or not. it wasn't snarling, it wasn't growling at me at all. >> reporter: matt was rushed to a hospital with puncture wounds and scratches. park officials evacuated the campground, found the wolf, and euthanized it. on facebook alisa saying it could have been so much worse, matt is our absolute hero, and we are forever grateful to russ. >> whoo. >> right? >> again, matt is okay, dad is okay.
