time line. >> let's look at live doppler 7. hurricane dorian has a very well defined eye. this is an indication that this storm is gaining strength as you can see there. let's look as to what's going to happen. it moves over the warm waters. it will intensify. category 3 now. wind of 123 miles per hour. moving at 10 miles per hour. it will slow down saturday it's nearing the bahamas. becoming a category 4. sunday morning it crosses. by monday morning it is eyeing the eastern coast of florida. there are some model differences exact time line as far as land fall. it's expected to strengthen to a four. bahamas rain. strong winds and dangerous storm surge. >> at least one florida airport orlando announced it will shut

updates. >> a california appeals court threw out the gun conviction against the man who shot and killed kate shrinely on a san francisco pier in 2015. >> the judge in trial failed to instruct the jury on one of the defenses. it was the sole conviction against garcia. and undocumented immigrant i quitted of murder in that very high profile case. >> he remanes in custody and faces federal gun charges. attorneys argue that will be double jeopardy. >> the investigation into dozens of commercial burglaries in cities across the bay area. san jose police arrested ten people. we're live from police headquarters with details on operation kick stand. >> police say the crew targeted construction sites, school districts and bike shops which explains the name. the investigation uncovered

guns, ammunition. stolen driver's licenses. credit cards and other stolen property. in addition to drugs. police believe the crew of ten are responsible for dozens of commercial burglaries across the bay area including san jose, burling game. oakland and santa cruz. really all over the region. the department says the crew was at it since january. on thursday a team of agencies served search warrants in both san jose and sunny vail. searching a locker, three vehicles in a home. i sat down with the police chief. >> oftentimes we don't think of it burglary as a violent crime. it's a very personal crime. and now especially with the guns that we recovered we can see this type of crime isn't necessarily as non-violent as people make it out to be. >> the ten suspects all adults were booked into the county jail on multiple felonies. including commercial burglary

and conspiracy. chief says his department seized several full-time firearms including a rifle, shotgun and handgun. several agencies were involved in the operation. led by the burglary prevention unit. >> all right. thank you. new developments in a fatal hit and run accident in san jose. it happened yesterday. story road and south jackson avenue. we're live from the intersection with the story. >> good evening. you can see flou flowers and candles have been placed here. i spoke with police they say the search for the suspect is still continuing. >> the sisters of the victim came out this morning to pay respects. at the intersection where their brother was killed. the family wouldn't comment on camera. but said their brother was originally from mexico. police say on thursday afternoon, a driver of a gold

chevy hit a chevy. and hit him in the crosswalk. with his bicycle. the driver took off running. >> my mom started crying. maybe it's a customer. i know many i customers. i feel so sad. >> this gas station employee who didn't want to be identified, heard the crash. she says drivers running red lights and speeding are always a problem at this intersection. >> that's crazy. >> a lot of speeders. >> people running red lights. >> yes. yeah. >> city counsel member has been working on vision zero. a city wide initiative to reduce the number of accidents. especially on the most dangerous streets. story road has been identified as one of them. >> if somebody runs a red light it's difficult to stop that accident pr happening.

the hacker group took credit for the attack. twitter hasn't released details on how they were able to get in. the company tweeted they're investigating the incident and his account has been restored. >> cyber security experts report they found a major vulnerability in iphones. hackers used mall ware to plant bugs on phones granting access to the victims i message. mail and contacts and location. all of the phones data would be exposed. it has the hallmarks of government espionage. likely infecting thousands of phones. >> google agreed to pay $200 million to settle a federal trade commission investigation. into you tubes alleged violation of the children's privacy law. prohibiting the collection of personal information from children without con set. google already took steps to
