cruz-based worldwide divers. >> reporter: good morning, natasha and reggie. a social media post claims there were a few people from the santa cruz area onboard that burning boat, and that includes, as you mentioned, the owner of the santa cruz dive company. her brother posted to facebook only hours after the deadly fire tore through the 75-foot dive boat conception, and he wrote on facebook, please pray for my sister, she was leading group on this boat. north bay diver is familiar with conception, the boat involved here. he says he remembers the boat being safe. >> couldn't be anything worse in the world than this, because i have spent time on the boat and

100 miles off the coast of west palm beach florida right now. this monster storm expected to have an impact on travelers today. >> we have been planning this wedding for, what, six months? >> six months. >> everything was fine up until we landed on thursday. >> reporter: that's when the couple who live in hayward found out that hurricane dorian was crashing their orlando wedding. >> i was stressed out because we thought we would have to cancel the whole event. >> but the wedding went on minus 50 guests that took off. >> but the bride made sure her groom weathered the storm. >> this was his first storm so he was panicking and i was calm.

authorities tell us the man rammed through a gate at 50 miles per hour after they tried to pull him over at the airport. they chased him for two miles before he jumped into the san francisco bay. the sheriff's office is working to figure out the man's intentions. air soft weapons, hoods and masks were found inside his car. the walnut creek police department and other agencies will train. training will last through firefighter. you could hear loud sounds coming from the medical center, but it's not live ammunition. do not plan on buying paper tickets at the bart street. >> starting today, powell street joins the embarcadero station in ditching the paper ticket sales,

another man face prison if found guilty. some quick action by firefighters limited the spread of a wildfire in eastern alameda county. cal fire tweeting out this picture. crews attacked the fire from the air until ground crews could get to the scene, and no structures were threatened and no injuries to report. an indiana family is suing san francisco's based company, juul. one of the parents that filed the suit said his 17-year-old son started smoking juul in 2017, and when his son tried to quit he suffered headaches heads other symptoms.

this is "abc7 mornings." a look at live doppler 7 on dorian, and you can see it's churning north by just a couple miles, if that, from the grand bahama island. some of the tropical storm winds are reaching the coast of florida from 28 to 30 miles per hour. that could increase a little bit. 120 to 150 sustained gusts. it makes a little turn to the right as it reaches the georgia coast. the worst part of the storm is going to be on the ocean side and not on the land side, and what they have to worry about at there, water seven feet above

normal tides. it could hit nova scotia this weekend. it's not even close to being over yet. we have a few problems if you are headed to the san mateo bridge. debris is in one of the lanes. it's backed up past the 880 crossing. it's slow to the metering lights. an earlier crash has been cleared from the lane on the 880. and there's a problem in san jose, and it will be out there for a while. it was a fatal accident southbound 101 on the story road off-ramp and blocking the westbound lanes, and tully road may be an alternate for you. if you are traveling through san jose, here's a live shot of northbound 87 for taillights and that's delay free right now. it's 5:54.
