noose was found near an oakland elementary school. this is the second time an incident like this has happened in recent weeks. good evening, thanks for joining us. >> abc 7 news reporter joins us now from the news room with how oakland unified is now responding. >> reporter: less than three weeks ago the first rope some neighbors believe resemble a noose was found at the elementary school. since then the oakland district investigated and later reported it was an accident. a student found a rope on the ground and tossed it on the fence. now on friday another rope is found. >> it looks like someone tied a noose to a fence. >> it brings back history of imagery of slavery and violence against african-americans. >> it brings up harsh emotions from a lot of people rightfully so because a noo noo

school. >> now, according to the oakland unify school district, the fbi investigated both incidents and haven't found any sign of a hate crime. >> we appreciate the report. thanks. a crash involving an suv and tesla in san jose leaves four people injured. it happened at about 4:00 p.m. you can see that suv just ended up slamming into a light poll there. witnesses rushed to aide those in both cars. the father and child in the suv sustained the worst injure injuries. >> when i saw what happened i ran and called 911 and i saw my dad take out the little children. one of the children that was riding with their father. >> witnesses say there were children in the caused the crash are not available. the victims' conditions have not been released. >> a developing story here,

investigators served search warrants at the california company that owned this boat that caught fire and killed 34 people last week. a majority of the victims were from the bay area. >> reporter: federal officials converge on truth aquatics offices in santa barbara as the investigation into the fatal fire aboard their dive boat, the conception, continues. agents searching the company's headquarters and two remaining dive boats. officials say the search warrants are a standard part of the ongoing investigation to determine the cause and if any crimes were committed. the labor day weekend fire claimed the lives of 34 people, all of them asleep below preliminary reports show they likely died of smoke inhalation. coast guard records showed the conception passed its two most recent inspections with no safety violations. last week the owner of truth aquatics filed a lawsuit that
