time. >> the giants are playing at oracle park. amy hollyfield joins us with how to get around. >> reporter: hi, kumasi. ride your bike, they have a bike valet station here where you can park your bike. they want to keep cars out of this area especially since there is a baseball game tonight and a big concert. another option is you can take b.a.r.t. on 16th street and then catch a muni shuttle. those shuttles will be available for every event at chase center. concert goers can also ride the 78, the 79, and the t third muni lines. they are free if you show your concert tickets.

approval rating dropped six points since july and is down to 38%. his average rating taking office remains the lowest on record for any modern president. >> a man is expected to be okay after a daring rescue. fire fighters came to the rescue of the man hurt and stuck on a steep cliff yesterday. a woman who saw it describes what happened. >> they found something to be able to secure a line, rappelled halfway down, got him, got him in a harness and rappelled him down to the beach. >> once on the beach she says the man was able to walk on his own to an ambulance. the search resumes tomorrow for the final victim of the dive boat disaster in southern california. 34 people were killed. many were from northern california. abc 7 news has learned the investigation is now a criminal probe. fbi agents served search warrants on the company that owned the boat. san pablo police are sharing new information hoping to solve the murder of a man nearly four years ago. so these are the sketches of two men suspected in the shooting

death of deion ward, the 31-year-old died after being shot on stanton avenue in october of 2015. detectives say they are searching for new witnesses, too. if you recognize either of these men, you are urged to call san pablo police. the national rifle association is suing san francisco. this comes after city supervisors passed a resolution calling the gun rights lobby a domestic terrorist organization. in the suit the nra says the city is infringing on its free speech rights. now supervisor catherine stefani's office said in part the nra is a terrorist organization that isn't succeeding at much of anything. they're dealing with dwindling membership, financial troubles, and a russian spy scandal. tesla is now respond to go that new video showing a man and his passenger apparently zipping down the highway asleep with autopilot engaged. the runway construction at sfo causing hundreds of delays and cancellations yesterday. and now some airlines are opting for other airports to get

big delay in the byron area of about 46 minutes right now. there's a serious motorcycle crash which has vasco road shut down. sig alert issued. a motorcycle was t-boned. in the bay area slow traffic. here is a live shot where things are start to go slow down with the brake lights. heading southbound towards highway 24. happening now a live picture of sfo where runway construction continues to frustrate a lot of passengers. since saturday there have been more than 300 delays and 134 cancellations. one runway is closed so crews can repair its base layer. some airlines are diverting flights. >> so that we're supposed to leave at 2:30 in the morning and then we went to jetblue's front

police released this surveillance video. the employee says the robber asked to purchase two cell phones. when they were put on the counter the robber grabbed them and ran. the two got into a struggle outside the store. the robber pulled out a knife and pepper spray and eventually got away with the phones. new details about the tesla driver who appears to be sleeping while the car is on autopilot. you can see the video there. we're now hearing from the man who recorded this. this happened in massachusetts. police have not found the man in the driver's seat or the passenger who also appears to be asleep. they say the vehicle's operator would be subject to criminal charges. >> i did a double take and looked over and sure enough his

head was between his legs. a lot of people think this was staged. the people in the car were not faking it. they were totally asleep, 100%. >> tesla says its autopilot system repeatedly reminds drivers to remain engaged and at highway speeds drivers typically receive warnings every 30 seconds or less if their hands aren't detected on the wheel. >> uber is planning a major expansion in chicago. the company will add thousands of jobs in the city and turn chicago into its freight headquarters. uber freight connects with shipping companies and has become an important piece of uber's larger business strategy as it struggles to become profitable. let's celebrate because it is palindrome week. for the next ten days the dates will road the same way backwards and forwards. this only works for dates that are written month, day and then the year. so, for example, today is september 10th and it's written 9/10/19 the numbers read the

concert and that is where we find amy hollyfield. amy? >> reporter: hi, good morning. a big test for this area tonight. we wanted to give everyone the heads up this is happening so you can plan for this. know before you go as the warriors say. one option you can take b.a.r.t. to the 16th street station in the mission and then cantch a b station to the chase center. the muni bus also start running two and a half hours before the concert starts. they will be available for every event at chase center. concert goers can also ride the 78 comes out here, the 79, the t, the third muni lines, all for free. you just have to show your concert ticket. tonight will be the first time there is a giants game at the same time as a concert. the start times are staggered. that might help. the giants game against the pirates starts at 6:45 tonight and then the dave matthews band concert starts at 8:00. but those two venues are less

than a mile apart. chase center had its first event friday night, and people seemed to have gotten the message about possible traffic issues. people took public transportation or parked far enough away that there weren't any major traffic problems. tonight we're going to add a baseball game to the mix. keep that in mind. you can also ride your bike here. they have a bike valet station here at this new arena, encouraging you to do everything can you but bring your car here. reporting live in san francisco, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. all right, thanks, amy. pg&e is back in court today in san francisco. >> and the company is facing new scrutiny for the plan to pay wildfire victims. when the utility filed for bankruptcy the company said it was because they couldn't pay $30 billion in fire claims. now pg&e is offering half of that or around $17 billion. people who lost their homes, at least some of them, are quite angry. >> literally our lifestyle was taken from us because of

apparent negligence and profit mongering by pg&e. yeah, i think i'm due something. >> abc 7 news spoke with a uc hastings law professor specializing in bankruptcy. he says pg&e's offer is likely a negotiating tactic and the dollar amounts may change over the next few months. firefighters are rushing to get the upper hand on a major wildfire before hot weather sets in again. the walker fire burning east is the largest wildfire so far this year. it scorched about 34,000 acres and is only 7% contained. some evacuation orders were lifted last night. homeowners are warned to be ready to leave again. erratic winds are making for difficult conditions. the fire was sparked by lightning on thursday. governor newsom has signed bills restricting medical exemptions for vaccines but it wasn't without some last-minute protests. >> separate pharma and state. >> protesters filled the halls of the state capitol yesterday

in a last-ditch effort to stop these bills. they blocked the entrances to buildings. they interrupted a state senate vote. one law calls for more scrutiny of doctors with high numbers of medical exemptions and revokes from doctors who face disciplinary action by the state. new this morning another bay area city is moving to ban single use plastic straws. the city council and union city voted to ban them last night. the ordinance goes into effect january 1st. business have is a six-month grace period to comply. the bay area news group says the ban will affect about 200 restaurants, cafes and tea shops. the fnew law will force customes to ask for utensils to get them. our effort to build a better bay area, a request to immediately stop the construction of a navigation center along san francisco's embarcadero has been denied. the center is next to a condo building where a woman was attacked and we all saw this video of that attack. neighbors argue the navigation

center will attract more crime and drugs into the area. the judge says a construction delay would cost the city more than $100,000 a month. another hearing in two weeks. the raiders' trouble with oakland is not over. abc 7 news has learned the city has refiled an antitrust lawsuit against the team and the nfl over the raiders' move to las vegas. a federal court judge nearly dismissed that suit back in july but he gave oakland 45 days to provide more evidence the case should move forward. the suit claims damages of more than $240 million plus loss of tax revenue and property value for the coliseum. new details about the equifax data breach settlement. what you need to know to be eligible for the cash payout. you are taking a live look at the big board at the new york stock exchange starting the morning down a little bit this morning. we'll have another update on how the markets are doing next. my queen madonna bringing her madam x tour to the bay area. there is a catch if you want to go.
