for today with the beautiful live view from the east bay looking towards san francisco. we have poor air quality in the inland areas and santa clara valleys. it's another spare the air day. and temperatures over t couple hours will be in the 50s and 60s after sunrise at 6:50. but by this afternoon you'll notice it's going to be cooler at the coast. with a little bit of the sea breeze. so temperatures there stay in the upper 60s for some of the cooler spots. and still hot inland but coming down from triple digits. inland areas warming up to the upper 90s around the bay. well see some mid-80s at the coast low 70s to upper 60s. now tomorrow temperatures really tumble. i'll have those details and also talk about a chance of rain with the accuweather seven-day forecast. >> ooh, after the heat i know people will look forward to that. thanks, frances. as she mentioned a hot week in the bay area. yesterday a record-breaking day for some parts here is abc 7 news reporter chris reyes talking with visitors about how they handled

bay area. and all right we have new developments on a deadly accident involving an amtrak train in berkeley thursday night. we learned the two men struck and killed by the train had just been evicted from a homeless encampment nearby at university avenue and interstate 80. according to the east bay community law center. names have not been released but the center said that the men went by the nicknames jupiter and fixie. all lanes back home on the lower deck of the bay bridge. after a van caught fire shutting down four lanes. the fire started around 10:00 last night and burned half an hour before the firefighters put it out. the van is destroyed. and a flat we had truck removed the debris. traffic was heavy as the giants game ended a while before the fire broke out. and at the same time elton john concert goers were let out from the chase center. >> i see people turning around i'm wondering if i should turn around. but i don't know where i'm going. i still need to get on the bridge. maybe i need to take another
