attorney steve wagstaffe's decision monday not to call olivier adella to testify in the murder trial of kaveh bayat and tiffany li. >> we have lost our trust in the validity of his testimony. >> reporter: a bombshell after wagstaffe decided last week to make a motion to revoke the d.a.'s plea deal with adella after they say he violated conditions of their agreement which included not using social media or contacting other witnesses. li and bayat are accused of murdering keith green, li's former boyfriend and father of her two children, who was shot in 2016. adella, li's trainer, pleaded no contest to accessory to murder for dumping green's body in sonoma county. now it's possible the d.a. will prosecute adella for green's murder. >> in some way we're celebrating a little. on the other hand this doesn't mean the end of the case. >> reporter: the lead attorney has felt adella played a larger role in green's murder but without him on the stand his defense strategy has to change.

culture, if you will, of the time with everybody repeating lines and talking about it. it was popular. i worked for nbc at the time. wednesday, tomorrow, a look at where the best chance of thunderstorms will be mainly across the northern corridor of the state dipping down into parts of lake tahoe. this is the system that eventually will drop some showers our way. let's take a look at our potential rainfall amounts. if you were with us a few minutes ago i said it would be moisture starved. yesterday we had anywhere from a tenth to even a third of an inch of rain from our lower elevations to higher elevations. this one we may not even get up to a tenth. some areas are not going to get any wet weather at all. it's going to be more scattered in nature compared to where we were this time yesterday. but the fact we're having two chances of wet weather in september in three days pretty impressive. no storm impact scale needed right now. if this does increase, we t w we' go.
