for the most part milder this morning and dry. a chance of showers going. the best chance in the morning for the north day and then lingering from noon to 4:00. temperatures will stay below average. upper 50s to 60s this morning. mid 60s at the coast. low to mid 70s elsewhere. >> we started off with a few injury crashes. some of them cleared. one we're tracking is a sigalert highway 580. we saw slowing in both directions, right now we're picking up green. southbound 880 slow through oakland because of road work. here's a live shot of 680 in walnut creek. southbound looks good out of westbound 4 despite an earlier injury crash eastbound 4 at hillcrest. bay bridge toll plaza, just a minor wait for some cash paying lanes.

westbound 4 ride, antioch to hercules, 26 minutes. westbound 80, highway 4 to the maze, 14 minutes. no major problems in the south bay. northbound 87 looking good to the san jose airport. we are following breaking news. at least one person is dead another hurt after a house fire in san francisco. >> that fire broke out in a home near delano and san juan avenues. jobina fortson just got to the scene. she joins us there live. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. a really devastating situation here this morning. i want to show you the home involved here. we are looking at a total loss. the fire ripped through the entire home. investigators are now on the scene here trying to figure out the origin of where the fire started. i talked with the battalion chief as soon as i pulled up. i said is there any indication of where this may have started? at this point they have no idea. the damage is extensive.

as you mentioned, one person dead. another person seriously hurt. both people were rushed to the hospital this morning. the call came in reporting the fire shortly after 2:00 a.m. this entire neighborhood has been out here watching this. we do not know an age or the relationship between the two people that were involved here. the victims of this fire. it's going to be a long morning. here's what the chief had to say. >> crews arrived on scene to find the house involved in fire with heavy smoke conditions. they immediately initiated a fire tact and a search of the building. during that, they found two -- they located two victims. pulled them out, rescued them. our crews made an aggressive attack and contained the fire. >> again, fire investigators are on the scene here.

you can see all of that debris they're pulling out of the home. there's a lot of work that needs to be done. figuring out where and how this fire started. for now reporting live in san francisco, jobina fortson, abc 7 news. >> thank you. this morning drivers are bracing for higher gas prices as the trump administration responds to iran's suspected role in attacking a saudi oil facility. mike mom ppompeo is on his wayt high-level talks. >> the trump administration is trying to balance diplomacy with fresh talk of military action against iran. >> reporter: this morning a team of investigators from the u.s. military and saudi arabia recovering and examining what one u.s. official says is compelling forensic evidence. that evidence according to the official collected from the debris of nearly a dozen cruise missiles and some 20 drones that

targeted and hit the saudi oil facilities. >> they'll take things like flight control services and match them to known iranian pictures of the cruise missiles they build. >> reporter: a senior administration official telling abc news there is enough information showing the weapons were fired from iran. and now secretary of state mike pompeo is scheduled to meet with the saudi prince later today to coordinate a response to this attack. as for the initial concerns about gas prices in the u.s. jumping as much as 25 crepents n gallon, that could be short-lived. saudi officials announced 50% of the oil processing plant has already been restored. scotts valley police want to find the man who tried to kidnap a 17-year-old girl. this happened sunday afternoon at mount herman and kings village roads. police say the man pulled up next to the girl and tried to force her inside his green ford

f 150 truck. someone saw what happened and that man took off. former president barack obama will be paying a visit to san francisco. he will be speaking at an invitation only event hosted by splunk, they produce software for searching and analyzing large amounts of data. the beginning of everything will look at how big tech companies can collect and man naage everything across the internet. some drama in santa clara. the city is planning a news conference to detail steps it plans to end the 49ers event management at levi stadium. last night the city council voted 6-0 to start the legal process of terminating the team's management agreement with non-nfl events. last month the rolling stones performed at the stadium. the band's promoter later wrote stadium management blasting the city for mike kcro management a

father who was piloting the boat when it his hit son. marin county sheriff's deputies originally arrested javier barello for manslaughter. his attorney said he is innocent and grieving. investigators believe his two sons fell off the boat on sunday and then were hit by the propeller. his 27-year-old son survived. in the east bay, oakland police are showing body cam video of a side show that hurt an officer. this happened on sunday night at the intersection of 55th avenue and foothill boulevard. police arrested one man for throwing bottles at officers. an officer suffered a minor injury while making the arrest. he was treated at the scene. there were three other side shows in the city. the san francisco board of supervisors is expected to approve the plan today to change the name of a presidio heights playground. julius kahn playground was named after a congressman who was in

southbound 54 at 615 has been canceled. alternate services depart at 6:25 or 6:34, but ace train number one and three, no major delays, b.a.r.t. reporting no delays at this time. contra costa county is taking action to put a temporary halt on collecting criminal justice fees. they will stop charging for probation reports, public defending serving and electronic monitoring. a moratorium was put into effect yesterday. critics say the fees are a burden to poor people and minorities. the county will stop trying to collect past due fees. san francisco passed similar legislation last year. a bay area conservation group bought 530 acres of land in the central valley including hundreds of ancient giant sequoia trees. save the redwoods league will pay for the grove.
