francisco. injuries have been reported. it's in the left lane. you can see the speed sensors are picking up slowing. southbound 101 making your way out of brisbane, maybe consider 280. let's go across the bay and check out haywarhayw southbound 880, a crash reported. traffic slow from 238 to past whipple. as we head outside and show you a live shot of the bay bridge toll plaza, it's backed up to the maze. also a check of the san mateo bridge. things are slowing down in the westbound direction on the right-hand side. >> thank you. we want to get you an update on that breaking news we've been tracking all morning on delano avenue and the mission terrace neighborhood. a person has died after an early morning house fire. >> jobina fortson is live at that home with what we're learning now.

>> good morning. i talked with a neighbor and learned some devastating information. there was a father and daughter living in the home. a daughter, 23 yrs old, eventually started lawsuit. we do not know which one did not survive. i want to show you the damage left over here. the fire started just shortly after 2:00 this morning. that's when crews got the call. they came out here, they were trapped inside. both the father and the daughter. the battalion chief tells me fire consumed the front of the home. the window here as well as the doorway. firefighters had to go around the back of the house, enter inside, and then rescue the daughter and father. now the neighbor that i talked to said he heard his dog barking and was awakened by that because his dog would not stop barking. that's when he saw the flames. he came outside with his soon who grew up with the girl that lived at this home.

here's what he had to say about what they did before firefighters arrived. >> just flames coming out of the window when i looked out. it was just -- i just ran out. got my hose. i was on top of my car, trying to spray it down. my other son was in the backyard, trying to spray down outsid outside. >> so they brought out their own fire hoses to help. he described this neighborhood as close knit. they all know each other. they're devastated and on top of all of this, he said this is just really hard to comprehend because the mother eventually passed away of cancer. so now we have two people that have been lost from this family. our thoughts are certainly with them this morning. reporting live in san francisco, jobina fortson, ashbc 7 news. this morning drivers are bracing for higher gas prices as

the trump administration responds to iran's suspected role in attacking a saudi oil facility. just minutes ago president trump tweeted he wants more sanctions on the country. here's elizabeth hurr. good morning. the trump administration is now trying to balance diplomacy with fresh talk of possible military action against iran. >> reporter: this morning a team of investigators from the u.s. military and saudi arabia recovering and exa whang one u.s. official says is compelling forensic evidence. that evidence according to the official collected from the debris of nearly a dozen cruise missiles and some 20 drones that targeted and hit the saudi oil facilities. >> they'll take things like flight control services and match them to known iranian pictures of the cruise missiles they build. >> reporter: a senior administration official telling abc news there is enough information showing the weapons were fired from iran. and now secretary of state mike

pompeo is scheduled to meet with the saudi prince later today to ordinate a response to this attack. as for the initial concerns about gas prices in the u.s. jumping as much as 25 cents a gallon in the coming days, that fear could be short-lived with saudi officials announcing that 50% of its oil processing plant has already be restored. developing news this morning. major democratic donor ed buck is expected in court after being charged with running a drug house in california. he is linked with the deaths of two men in his facing charp chargess for provi another man with meth in his home last week.

scotts valley police want to find the man who tried to kidnap a 17-year-old girl. we have this new sketch. this happened sunday afternoon at mount herman and kings village roads. police say the man pulled up next to the girl and tried to force her inside his green ford f150 truck. someone saw what happened and that man took off. the city of santa clara is presenting a news conference later today with steps it plans to end 49ers management managemt stadium. last night the city council voted 6-0 to start the legal process of terminating the team's management agreement with non-nfl events. last month the rolling stones performed at the stadium. the band's promoter later wrote stadium management blasting the city for micro management and other issues. the 49ers released the letters. a report cited a number of lawsuits against the city by the 49ers and more than $80,000 in wages that the city was not

of her body. >> whenever victims come forward and testify in court, we recognize how courageous that is. >> austin's public defender said it was clear his client was having mental health issues at the time. new details in the boat crash that killed an 11-year-old boy near angel island. an attorney tells abc 7 news no charges are expected against the father who was piloting the boat when it his hit son. marin county sheriff's deputies originally arrested javier barello for manslaughter. his attorney said he is innocent and grieving. investigators believe his two sons fell off the boat on sunday and then were hit by the propeller. his 27-year-old son survived. we're following breaking news. a devastating house fire in san francisco overnight. one person has died. abc 7 news reporter jobina fortson is live on the scene getting new information about the investigation. you're looking live at the

neighborhood overnight. jobina fortson is at the scene with new information. >> reporter: good morning. this is an incredibly sad situation. a father and daughter lived in this home behind me here. they have been a part of this community for more than 20 years. i want you to see a good look at the damage now that the sun is up. a neighbor tells me the daughter, who grew up with his son, is 23 and recently started law school. this is a tough situation for many people to comprehend because her mother died of cancer. now this family is dealing with another major loss. firefighters tell us they got the call about the fire here shortly after 2:00 a.m. when they arrived the front portion of the home was engulfed in flames. they had to break through the back to get inside the house and rescue the father and daughter. joe mcdonald was awakened by his barking dog this morning. he has known the family for more than 20 years living on the street. he said when he looked outside his home he saw the flames.

here's what happened next. >> i heard her scream dad. then i was screaming come out. she never came out. i couldn't get her out. >> crews arrived on scene to find the house involved in fire with heavy smoke conditions. they immediately initiated fire tact, and a search of the building. during that, they found -- they located two victims. >> again, a father and daughter living in this home. we do not know yet which one of them did not make it. the fire investigators will be out later today to determine what exactly caused all of this. we are thinking of this family this morning. our thoughts are certainly with them as they go through this tragedy. reporting live in san francisco, jobina fortson, abc 7 news. >> that is tough. thank you. we are learning more about "jeopardy" host alex trebek and the next phase of his fight
