way from tra dublin/pleasanton with speeds well under 20 miles per hour here. checking over in sausalito, southbound, two left lanes blocked near the marin city off-ramp. you are starting to back up there. they're looking for a tow truck to come and clear the lanes out. a look at the drive times. about an hour, hour and 15 minutes westbound tracy to dublin. highway 4 is bunching up with a 25-minute ride westbound. san rafael into san francisco, that is looking good with minor slowing through that sausalito accident as you make your way through marin city. >> sounds good. thanks. breaking news, new york city mayor bill deblasio is dropping out of the race for president. here's the announcement he made about 90 minutes ago. >> i have to tell you at the same time, i feel like i've contributed all i can to thishis primaimary election.

the store will hope at 8:00 this morning. that's when the applause will happen and customers can get that new iphone 11 which costs between $699 and $1,099. reporting live in palo alto, am ifsh iphone is some peoples thing. new details on that deadly bus crash yesterday morning involving josh turner's road crew. the bus was leaving the amphitheater in pass ko robles after wrapping up a concert. one person was killed and seven others were injured. this happened around 1:00 a.m. yesterday morning. the chp will be impounding the bus to see if there were mechanical issues. they are also looking to see if the driver suffered medical issues that could have caused the crash. happening today, nurses at three bay area hospitals

going on strike. the hospitals affected are alameda hospital, san leandro hospital and san ramon regional medical center. the california nurses association has filed multiple charges against alameda and san leandro hospitals for failing to bargain in good faith. the protest at san ramon regional is a multi state protest against tenet hospitals calling on management to invest in nursing staff. a new jersey man is charged with helping the iranian backed group hezbollah. investigators say 42-year-old alexei saab scouted dozens of landmarks to attack in the 2000s including the statue of liberty, the white house and times square. he had weapons training in lebanon and learned how to make explosives. he was arrested in july after being questioned by the fbi earlier this spring. happening today, an american airlines mechanic from tracy is expected to enter a plea in

court in florida. prosecutors say sabotaged the jet in miami. prosecutors say he disabled the plane's navigation system because he was upset over stalled contract negotiations. the plane did not take off and no one was hurt. federal prosecutors have charged ed buck with providing meth to a man who overdosed and then died back in 2017. that man was the first of three people to overdose in buck's apartment. buck did enter a plea during yesterday's court hearing. just last week police arrested him for providing drugs to another man in west hollywood. thousands of people will flock to san francisco for the fullsome fair next week. the sisters will be urging people to donate to various bay non-profits. the group had considered pulling out of the fair because of a dispute with the event organizers. a group planning to storm area 51 may have been stopped by the federal government, but that

looking for who opened fire at san hose state. >> jobina fortson joins us from the san jose library with details. good morning. >> good morning. this was a very scary situation for the students inside the library here. i want to pan up to the windows. you can't see the bullet holes now but you could early yesterday evening. windows on the seventh and eighth floors were hit by bullets. we were the only ones to talk to garrett bruner. garrett bruner was studying on the eighth floor and had a bullet pass over his head. he shared this photo of the

and had rounds. is planned protests around the world including in the bay area to bring attention to climate change. tens of thousands of students are expected to skip class to participate in marches. this is in australia where the strike has already started. today's global climate strike takes days before the united nations climate action summit in new york city. more young people are voicing their concern over global warming. also today president trump will hear a broad array of options about what to do with iran. the president will be given a possible list of targets for air strikes, to attack. the first lady just welcomed

scott morris sason and was wife jenny at the white house. the leaders will hold a joint news conference later today. morrisson is the second world leader to be granted a state visit under the trump administration. a state dinner will take place at the white house tonight. the trump administration is reinstating a program granting temporary reprieve from deportation for immigrants facing life threatening medical conditions. the policy reversal comes a week after a bay area woman facing such a condition testified before congress. you can see her here. the 24-year-old, isabel bueso offers from a rare genetic disease. she moved here in 2003 to take part in clip cal trials for a drug to treat it. the vallejo police department is facing three more lawsuits alleging racial

profiling and excessive force. all involve african-americans who say they were roughed up by officers during bogus arrests. their attorney, john burress, says it is telling that the d.a. has not pursued cases against any of his clients. he said the hiring of a new vallejo police chief may be reason for optimism but it may take a court appointed monitor to keep the department in line. >> in our view, it is an out of control department where african-americans and brown people are routinely mistreated and subject to unconstitutional stops. >> in a statement vallejo police say they do not comment on pending litigation. they did add they are confident litigating the case will reveal the truth behind the allegations. a new development in the vaping crisis, why there's a criminal investigation. and right now a live look at the big board. it looks like we're starting up about 27 points. today's the day. apple's iphone 11 is released to the public. we are live with the lines around the world for the latest gadget. first, it is 6:37.
