jining us live in calistoga is cornell. >> reporter: as you can see the liets lights are back on. pg&e has been restored to all 1400 customers in napa and sonoma koun tis but questioning why the shutoff was even needed. five generators were cranking on the grounds of safari west in santa rosa. pg&e turned the power off wednesday but the staff was able to keep the staff and guests cool. >> we had to work extra hard to keep the generators running. >> reporter: some couldn't take the heat even with fans. >> it was hot. so we left here and went into town and hung out at the grocery store. >> reporter: pg&e restored power by 4:00 p.m. in napa county some businesses forced to close. the lights came back on in calistoga and just in time.
