i have always tried to look at them as people first. fellows, you have taught me to look beyond impossible. to never say die. and never stop believing. and never, never give up on what you're trying to accomplish. and torture is better than going home. >> thank you so much for everything you did. thank you so much for guiding us to these three. we're going to miss you, san francisco will miss you. baseball will miss you. you. >> after all of is this emotion and the ceremony. the giants lost the game. but it was all ability bruce bochy. wrapping up a 25 year career. a fan told me earlier that ceremony was worth the entire price of admission. they got a baseball game too.

very long time. lots of standing ovations. governor newsom and others recorded video tributes to bochy. his retirement ceremony lasted about 90 minutes and ended with the classic. i left my heart in san francisco. >> very fitting ending. >> here's a quick snapshot of his career. he managed for 25 seasons. 12 with the padres 13 with the giants. he'll finish with victories. despite the titles and appearance. once was he named manager of the year. back in 1996. >> tributes to the giants manager have been coming in throughout the day. and they rake range from former players to the great will will mays himself. country music power couple. as well as the bay area other professional teams.

she grew up in oakland and went to law school in san francisco. even with that record outside of this room the poll closer to home here in the bay area. showing her fourth among voters. we asked her about that. >> i know how to work hard. i know i hus earn the vote of everyone. and i intend on doing that. that's what we have done every time and we have won. >> i have a professional job that i work at 40 to 60 hours a week. and this election is too important to sit on the sideline. and hopes it turns out okay. >> senator harris we have more in common than what separates us. she asked for those to go out and energize. start making phone calls. other people who were in the

showers are gone. the cloud cover will linger for part of the monday. we will take a look at a cool start to the work and school week. >> okay. thank you. >> in the east bay, electricity is back on after a big outage this morning effecting 35,000 pg&e customers. all impacted. and so was bart. the berkeley station was closed after it lost power. it was fully restore at 11:00 a.m. >> meantime pg&e is looking into the cause of the an outage that effected 2000 customers in san francisco around noon. a map showing the impacted area in the northern part of the city. the company reported power was restored to the customers about three hours later. >> cannabis has been used to treat variety of medical conditions. why scientists now are exploring whether it could work on

scientists are conducting trials to see if cannabis can help children with autism. researchers in new york believe a non-psycho active cannabis extract could help with autism symptoms since it's helped reduce epileptic seizures. results are expected in 2021. fda considers it to be a schedule one drug. with no currently accepted medical use. >> considering reversing its ban on cannabis stores. two groups who submitted applications to open dispensaries. in 2017 the city passed an ordnance banning cannabis businesses but left room for people to apply. seeking an exemption to the ban. >> the sound of the beatles if i would the air today in the east bay.

hayward memorial park for an out door rock and roll concert. organized to benefit the instrumental music program. it featured student musicians, dancing and barbecue. with city counsel member as guest chef. >> more than 1,000 people turned outd this morning for the 29th annual more than pink breast cancer walk in san francisco. patients, survivors and families and supporters all gathered along the water front to fund raise for research and fight for a cure.
