in berkeley is oxford elementary be, a charming location but potentially dangerous. >> i'm very shocked. i'm shocked. >> according to a newly released geotechnical report commissioned by the berkeley school district this nearly 120-year-old school is at risk of major damage during an earthquake. the report shows the foundation of the school could move as much as 20 feet. parents at the school were worried by the finding. >> if you say it's an earthquakes and it's a risk that's a huge concern. >> the report shows the school is in a landslide zone, particularly at risk during the earthquake. >> pillar is on the pta and says the past few days the district has talked about retrofitting the school. >> with budgeting and things they've been bushing it. >> the district says the school rebuilt in 1964 is in compliance with state earthquake safety requirements and that this report reveals an elevated risk. in a message to parents the superintendent said the plan is to keep students at the current site for the remainder of the

others on monday. . it is all about the wind. looking at the upper elevations gusting to near 30 miles an hour around mount diablo. look at the direction, straight out of the north, does nothing really dry out the atmosphere. as we start in at 9:00 you'll notice that the winds at the surface not particularly gusty. it's in the upper elevations stopping this late tonight we begin to see the winds, lake, napa county increase out of north and northeast. and that will continue. into sunday morning. so those higher elevations around marine county, even the deebl of range watching that closely as the relative humidity hub dropping to 20% out there throughout the afternoon. right on through the weekend. keep that in mine. it will abness afternoon today. here a look at monday as temperatures climb into the 90s. one of the warmer days here. 80s around the bay. 70s -- actually 70 is average for san francisco. today the first day where numbers are above average into

[ applause ] >> making that announcement became somewhat of a challenge for the mayor and loftus herself. first, protesters gathered at the location in chinatown where london breed was supposed to deliver her message. the event was postponed several minutes. then once protesters spotted loftus they chased her around chinatown. lost sus a controversial figure because she once led the police commission during the tumultuous times in the city. but despite multiple interruptions she was finally surrounded appointed by her daughters. >> i have to tell you on my way over here i got to have a beautiful walk through chinatown. is there anyone whose trust i have yet to earn i will work every day to earn your trust.

taxi will have pick up passengers at a designated area. lax is the latest major airport to do this. both sfo and sacramento international airport ban curbside pick ups by ride share drivers. lyft is offering new rewards to roifrs, including a new pay structure. some of the perks include cash bonuses after a certain number of rides, up to 5% cash back on gas and credit to take lyft rides. a bill just became law to reclassify ride share drivers as employees instead of independent contractors. but it won't go into effect until january. george washington high school is being sued over a decision to cover the controversial mural lining its walls. the high school lum nigh association filed the lawsuit in san francisco superior court yesterday they want the mural preserved arguing that it depicts history that should be remembered. critics say the mural shows the oppression of native americans and african-americans. the school board and community members voted to cover the new

emotions, you know. there is opportunities here that will open you up to different things. i never -- i never once on the streets thought about cooking. now it's like a i grie are grew up in a dysfunctional family, using drugs was part of dwroeg up. and i also grew up with a bunch of bad information on life, kind of like doing my own thing, not obeying the law and because of that i wound up in jail. i want to believe -- i don't want to believe that i won't see see my mom again. that was my hardest thing. she was the only one who never turned her, on me. well a banana pudding topped with walnut with a sauce with a slice of strawberry.
