>> reporter: according to the newly released geotechnical report commissioned by the berkeley unified school district, the nearly $120-year-old school is atamage earthquake. the report shows the foundation of the school could move as much as 20 feet. parents were worried by the findings. >> if you say that if there is an earthquake and it's at risk, that's a huge concern. >> this report also shows the school is? a landslide zone which is why it's at risk during the earthquake pillar fisher is on the pta he said she said the past two years the district talked about retrofitting the school. >> i think with budgeting things like that they have kind of been pushing it. >> the district says the school which was rebuilt in 1964 is in compliance with state earthquake safety requirements. and that this report reveals an elevated risk. in a message to parents, the superintendent said the plan is to keep students at the current site for the remainder of the school year. but moving forward the school may be relocated to a nearby campus. >> what do you want to he will it the school.
