is yellow at 42 minutes. southbound 680 looking good, dublin to mission boulevard south. we have a live shot of 680 in walnut creek, that southbound traffic on the right near geary, looks good towards highway 24. no problems in the south bay. headlights are on northbound 101, that's 880 across your screen. we'll take you to the bay bridge toll plaza to show you it's almost delay-free except a few of the cash paying lanes. >> thanks. tracking developing news in napa county. a fire is burning in american canyon. >> it's about 30% contained after destroying 500 acres. the fire started yesterday west of schwer stateinterstate 80. luckily nobody was hurt. one outbuilding was destroyed. the fire prompted an evacuation advisory which has since been lifted. another fire happening now is actually closing one of the

entrances to yosemite national park. you're seeing what firefighters saw as this brush fire forced entrances. at last check this is burning 45 acres, 5% containment. the white house made an announcement on sunday after president trump spoke with turkey's president. the u.s. has promised to remove all forces from the immediate area. you're looking at video of syrian troops removing defense barriers last month. kurdish forces helped the u.s. fight isis. turkey plans to take possession of all captured isis fighters from the past two years. so there are two things you need to know tonight about the 49ers game even if you are not watching football. >> number one, the evening commute will be impacted and the game is an opportunity for a little boy who needs help from a stranger. jobina fortson is live for us at

levy stadium. >> we have two very important things to talk about here. first i'll start with the game. they have the balloons out. the red carpet. leave whether you are a football fan or not, plan for your commute. vta says expect all trains to be crowded tonight because it is a week night game. also if you are going to the game, special service will begin after the fourth quarter. if you leave early, vta light rail will run regular service every 15 minutes. after the fourth quarter trains will run as often as needed to serve the crowds. all vta a shuttles will ope opee p.m. shuttles 20 minutes earlier than the printed times. there will be bus routes and reroutes so plan accordingly. also tonight, at the game you will meet a very special 5-year-old. his name is sabian hamilton.

right now it's 30% contained. thankfully right now our air quality is good. everybody is green. later on this afternoon during the 19th spare the air, we have could poor air quality in the east bay valleys and in the south bay. we're seeing some extra long delays on westbound 580 through tracy because of an earlier crash on i-5 that has been cleared. it's a slow ride through the area. number four, police are searching for the suspect they say stabbed a man to death in san jose. detectives say they think it started as a fight last night. the victim has not yet been named. number five, it's going to bei packed house in santa santaa for the 49ers game against the browns. the vta will be running to ease traffic headaches. number six, a second whistle-blower is coming forward and talking to the inspector generl about president trump's call with the president of ukraine. that person is corroborating

san mateo bridge, there's a minor wait at the toll plaza. once you get across the span, it's looking good westbound. it's crowded, more crowded now making your way towards foster city and san mateo. the real slowing is out of tracy on westbound 580. there was an earlier crash near i5. that slowed traffic along that westbound 580 stretch and westbound 280 has been jammed as wll. the drive time is 53 minutes from tracy to dublin. thank you. new this morning, san jose police are searching for the suspect in san jose's 28th murder this year. police responded to calls of a fight on alum rock avenue off 101. officers found a man stabbed when they got there abou9:30 last night. he died at the hospital. police are trying to figure out what led to the stabbing. firefighters are working to put out a brush fire that's burning in napa county. >> the american fire has burned more than 500 acres. this is happening east of

american canyon. amy hollyfield has the latest information. >> firefighters say they stopped the fire. it's not moving forward anymore. we smell smoke, but no evidence of flames or smoke. no evidence that fire is burning right now. the residents in the vintage ranch neighborhood had quite a scare. one man showed us this video of the intense fight. residents were using hoses to protect their homes. the wind kept blowing embers fom the fire in their direction. firefighters were fighting it from up above. it was a real joint effort. >> the firefighters were thankful to us. we were thankful to them. things, you know, it all happened good for the end. >> reporter: those residents were under an evacuation advisory, which means they needed to be ready go with

little notice. that advisory has been lifted. no one was hurt. no homes were damaged. one outbuilding was destroyed. this was burning west of interstate 80 near american canyon road. it started yesterday afternoon. firefighters latest estimate is that it burned 526 acres. they say the winds and the steep hills made it tough to fight this fire. but they say they were aggressive and they got it knocked down. reporting live in american canyon, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. thank you. the power is back on for more than 10,000 pg&e customers following an emergency shutoff in the sierra foothills. pg&e began turning off power on saturday night. it was a precaution to prevent wildfires. >> outages affected customers in bute and yuma counties. two years ago this week life was forever changed for some north bay neighbors. at the time the tubbs wildfire would be the most destructive in our state's history. yesterday the community took a

president trump. the attorney representing the first whistle-blower now says a second whistle-blower is coming forward. president trump has tried to dismiss the first whistle-blower's claims that he pressured ukraine's president to investigate joe biden's son saying that the whistle-blower had inaccurate, second or third-hand information. but the new whistle-blower claims to have firsthand knowledge of the incident. that person has spoken with the inspector general. on "this week" with george stephanopoulos republican congressman jim jordan struggled to defend the president's latest calls for china to get involved. >> the president asked china to investigate. >> we know they're not. >> why can't you answer yes or no? do you think it's appropriate? >> i don't think that's what he did. >> it was right there on camera. >> president trump has denied any wrongdoing. the supreme court today starts a new term with big issues to be decided. cases this term include president trump's executive power over immigration, and lbgtq workplace discrimination.

here. 60 friday and then low to mid 60s sat aurday and sunday. a sacramento uber driver is in a coma this morning after being attacked by a passenger. police say 41-year-old joseph mcvay fended off the knife attack a week ago, later that night he had a heart attack and fell into a coma. the family says the car they used was being rented from uber and they were still being charged for this vehicle even though it was impounded by police for evidence. >> if they can't do anything to keep them safe, if something does happen to them, they need to have some financial protection for them. >> uber says it is doing what it can to support the family. mcvay's wife and two daughters hope he will pull through. police arrested the suspected attacker. "jeopardy" host alex trebek i sharing more about his second round of chemotherapy and his fight against cancer. the long-time host revealed his diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer in march. by may he appeared to be in

remission. three weeks ago he revealed he has to undergo a second round of chemo. now in a new interew with canadian television, trebek says he is determined to fight cancer but he's realistic about his odds and has come to terms with the idea of death. >> you're not afraid of dying? >> no. no. not afraid of dying. one thing they're not going to say at my funeral as a part of a eulogy, he was taken from us too soon. >> trebek continues to host "jeopardy" as he undergoes chemo. he says the treatment has made it difficult to speak, but he still hasn't taken a single day off. happening today, some fire training exercises to keep you safe, but these will be at an airport. the buchanan airfield will simulate and extinguish a plane fire later today. it's all part of a week full of live fire drills there, so you may see small amounts of smoke in the area. fema and the federal government use buchanan as the logistics center for major fires and
