. this morning outrage is growing in england. a u.s. diplomat's wife left the country despite being the suspect in a deadly august crash. she's not been identified by police. but they say she was driving on the wrong side of the road when she hit and killed a teenager on his motorcycle. now the teen's parents are answ. >> i just utterly broken inside and out. everything hurts. >> police say the suspect claimed diplomatic immunity because she's the rife wife of american diploma. detectives say the woman initially cooperated after the crash and had no plans to leave england.

next. >> a new crash reported on 680 in stone valley. theat is where traffic is low. a stall reported in the left lane. it's blacked up into the maze now. i want to show you the maps. we have a few incidents out there. westbound 580, golf links, an accident blocking the right lane it started out as a stall, then it was rear-ended. in the vacaville area, westbound 80 at cherry glenn, an accident slowing things down. it's a crawl. there was also a crash reported eastbound at alamo. here's a check of the south bay commute, headlights are northbound 101. looks good here past 880. you are under the speed limit from the capital expressway to old oakland. and check out the san mateo bridge, the rye is getting slow in the westbound direction making your way out of hayward. so far no major problems once you make your way across the span and on the peninsula. 101 is looking good as well as

new this morning, san jose police are searching for the suspect in san jose's 28th murder of the year. police responded to calls of a fight on alum rock avenue off 101. officers found a man stabbed when they got there about 9:30 last night. he died at the hospital. police are trying to figure out what led to the stabbing. firefighter shs are working to put out a brush fire in napa county. >> thes burning burning burni and americy hollyfield has more that. >> reporter: firefighters are not letting down their guard. they're still out there keeping an eye on the area to make sure this fire does not kickback up again. the latest is it burned about 526 acres. we can smell smoke in the area but we don't see fire burning this morning.

we have some video shot by a resident. he shared it with us. this was his facebook live showing what a joint effort this was. residents in the vintage ranch neighborhood grabbing hoses to work on the ground near their homes, while firefighters attacked from the air. the residents were under an evacuation advisory meaning they needed to be ready to go with little notice. residents say it got uncomfortably close. >> it started running back to our home, we told everybody we need to go. in 30 seconds. >> it's scary. >> yeah. >> my wife, my kids, my mother-in-law, i tell them go to the car. >> reporter: that evacuation advisory has been lifted. no homes were damaged. fire did not reach the homes. one outbuilding was destroyed. this was burning near american canyon road, west of interstate 80. the winds kept blowing embers from the fire towards the neighborhoods. firefighters say one tough issue they faced was access because of
