news in 2017 when her mother claimed the 7-year-old was terminally ill with cancer. olivia died that summer. kelly renee turner has been indicted for murder and child abuse in olivia's death. she's also facing fraud charges for gofundme fraud charges. prosecutors have said lori loughlin and her husband paid $500,000 in bribes to get their two daughters into the university of southern california. now the university says olivia jade and isabella are no longer enrolled at the school. >> it comes as four more parents have changed their pleas to guilty. here's abc's eva pilgrim. >> reporter: four more parents embroiled in that college admissions scandal now changing their pleas to guilty, including manuel and elizabeth enriquez, who prosecutors say gloated with their daughter about getting away with cheating on her college entrance tests. 19 of 35 parents have pleaded

six months, walking 2,800 miles from new jersey. >> i can definitely appreciate what he did. so it's an amazing accomplishment. i'm really proud of him. yeah, gives me motivation that the end is near and that i'm going to do the same thing soon. >> reporter: during mike's week and y'ru the two have kept in touch. >> we started messaging. we've had a nice little rapport back and forth. thout out there this journey. >> reporter: neither has been throughout difficult while walking through colorado in august, mike was bitten by a rattlesnake and airlifted to a hospital. for brady the most difficult part of his journey happened on day 103. >> probably the hardest challenge has been in arkansas. i really hurt my achilles. you know, that was the hardest because i think i was at about halfway. i had been through so many miles and put so much into this thing. >> reporter: brady took two days off to recover, and thankfully it worked. this morning he's just past las cruces, new mexico.

some of the most expensive homes in southern california. residents watching in horror, some with hoses in hand until they too run for it. this chopper putting out a fire on the cusp of engulfing a home. seconds later police walking out the front door. a plane known as the super scooper later dropping water with laser precision. look how low they're fly to these homes, it's so close, they're flying so low, right on top of these homes. the wildfire sparked just before noon in the pacific palisades neighborhood of los angeles. you can see one woman running to her car as the fire closed in. >> they will not sleep, they will not rest, until they get this fire out. >> reporter: this father going on foot to pick up his daughter from a nearby school. >> i'm here, the fire's there, she's on the other side. >> reporter: 40 acres burned. miraculously, no one was injured. we actually saw the police officers going door to door,

telling people to evacuate. they say right now is the time to evacuate because they're concerd thathe winds could shift in the afternoon. onshore winds could actually push theire heseills and into these homes. kayna whitworth, abc news, los angeles. two dallas schools are a complete loss after three tornados struck the metro area. >> many other buildings, homes and businesses were also destroyed by the twisters. thousands of people are without power overnight. the strongest of the storms had winds as high as 140 miles per hour. amazingly there were no deaths or major injuries. another tornado touched down in memphis, sending airport passengers and personnel scurrying for shelter. again, no deaths or major injuries reported there. oklahoma and arkansas weren't so lucky, though. four people died in those states. >> that severe storm system has moved east but it's still a threat to the south. >> accther's adam del rosso is tracking it along with the fire danger in the west. good morning, adam. >> kaylee and kenneth, good morning. thor storms expected across the southeast making their way along

a frontal boundary. damaging wind gusts are going to be the main threats for the all the way up to shington, d.c. beyond that we will still see some rain. however, the threat for it to be severe across the northeast and into new england a little less likely. across the southwest it is warm, dry, windy, that means another day with fire threat across uthwest california. kaylee, kenneth? >> so much to look out for there, thank you. anger and frustration boiling over in syria as american troops withdraw from the country in droves leaving their kurdish allies behind. >> crowds threw potatoes at armored military vehicles as u.s. convoys passed throug kurdish towns en route to iraq. this morning the cease-fire negotiated by the u.s. is about to expire. mona kosar abdi has more. >> reporter: president trump made it clear his decision to keep a small number of troops in syria is not about the kurds. >> good relationship with the kurds but we never agreed to protect the kurds. >> reporter: instead, the president said the move was partly a request from israel and

jordan, as well as, quote, secure the oil. >> so we have a small group there, and we secured the oil. other than that, there's no reason for it. >> reporter: the president's message breaking with republicans on the hill, including trump allied senator lindsey graham who says the u.s. should not abandon its kurdish allies. on the ground, u.s. troops leaving northern syria were blocked by desperate kurds holding signs, one reading "thanks for the u.s. people but trump betrayed us." some expressing their frustrations by throwing potatoes at armored vehicles and hurling insults. trump remains unmoved, at one point insisting the turkish incursion may have helped ease negotiations. >> if they didn't go through 2 1/2 days of hell, i don't think they would have done it. i think you couldn't have made a deal. >> reporter: under the u.s.-brokered cease-fire the kurds are supposed to withdraw from a safe zone on the syrian side of the turkey/syria border. but over the weekend both sides accused the other of violating that agreement with turkey offering this warning. >> if they don't withdraw, our operation will restart. >> reporter: according to the "new york times" the pentagon is

looking to possibly keep around 200 troops on the ground. a u.s. official tells abc news one idea is for a mix of u.s. and european forces to stay in the area. kaylee, kenneth. >> thank you, mona. president trump is now urging republicans to get tougher and fight against impeachment as lawmakers hear today from the top u.s. diplomat in ukraine. >> bill taylor took over the u.s. embassy in kiev after the president abruptly removed the ambassador. as the president pressed for an investigation into joe biden, taylor said in a text message it's crazy to withhold aid for help with a political campaign. >> the closed door testimony comes after the house rejected a republican resolution to censure intelligence committee chairman adam schf over his handling of the impeachment inquiry. it appears justin trudeau has won a second term as canada's prime minister. projections had trudeau's liberal party losing some seats, meaning he'll have to have

>> okay. okay. >> reporter: the 51-year-old late night host in his 17th season. did you even imagine, 17 seasons? >> no, i never imagined we'd be on this long. it's weird, i sometimes think about this. i've been doing this show for longer than i went to school. because if you count kindergarten and then go through high school, that's 13 years. and then college, which i did three years of college, mostly unsuccessfully. i've now been doing this longer than i went to school, which is a very strange thing to think about. >> reporter: the brooklyn native a student of the late night greats from carson to letterman, opening up about the challenges of late night in the age of trump. we're in this hyperpartisan, divisive time in our country. i think for the late night hosts we go to you for a little levity, some comedy as well. what's it like to be a late night host in the time of the trump administration and this hyperpartisan atmosphere we're in right now? >> we are so focused on what's going on in politics now.
