scene here. assisting police. they are a contract city sheriffs deputies. they are doing the primary investigation. police not offering very little information. even about whether it's one suspect or perhaps several. or how anyone got away from the area after the shooting. what we know is this party was billed on social media as a at . last night. and ended with gunfire in less than an hour. >> a quiet halloween night in gunfire just before 11:00 p.m. high in the hills where shooting at a house party left four people dead. and at least four others injured. >> when the officers arrived it was a cay yachaotic scene and t was a lot of noise and yelling and running. >> this is a video showing the

house crowded with people earlier in the evening. >> 24 year-old was one of those shot and injured. shown here in a photograph with his baby daughter. hours before the party. his father says he's being treated at a local hospital. >> he got shot three or four times. >> a flier on social media called it a mansion party. the home where the shooting took place it is atop long steep driveway. it's often rented out. and there have been large parties there before. >> it was terrifying in the first moments just because we didn't know what was going on. and the neighbors were worried people might be still doing things that were dangerous. now it's just kind offr >>yanagerreal had been several complai about large parties at the home in the past nine months. most recently at 9:35 last

night. one hour and 15 minutes before violence erupted. >> i believe they tried to call police. or they did. >> now police are yet to say whether they actually dispatched their officers to the area to check out the complaint. about the party. at 9:35. they have a short term rental ordnance. no more than 13 people supposed to be using a house that's rented as a short term rental. theyth mayor said the city counsel will be looking at that ordnance starting next week. as for the investigation here it's very much ongoing. within the past hour we had officers come out here and actually within ten yards of where we're standing pick up an unspent bullet. so it's unclear if the shooting all happened inside. or if things were happening out here on the street.

>> very scary. thank you. san francisco based airbnb issued a statement saying it's horrified by the shooting and expressing support for the investigation. it adds our thoughts are with the victims and the neighbors of the home. it has taken action to ban the booking guest from the platform. the statement also declares the listings house rules specifically ban parties. and weapons are banned. they claim it has procedures to flag potentially problem renters including what it says is a realtime detection system that uses machine learning and predictive to instantly evaluate hundreds of signals and stop any suspicious activity. the company says if it detects potentially concerning behavior it takes a range of action. including removing a user from the platform. >> the shooting has shaken both

that community and the communities of the victim. if you or someone you love is struggling with grief. we have resources on our web site. look for the take action thumbnail. and get linked to professionals and groups that can help. >> one person killed sadly after a head on crash involving a cal fire suv outside. the collision happened on lake ville highway. south of stage gulch road. after 2:30 p.m. the highway patrol tells us the man in the jeep was thrown from the vehicle. and died at the scene. the firefighter was also hurt. he was alert and speaking when he was taken to the hospital. highway patrol officers closed this stretch of the highway. between stage gulch and highway 36. it will stay closed for the next several hours. >> firefighters continue to make good progress on the kincade fire. in the latest report this morning. >> it burned almost 78,000 acres

>> certainly while much of the focus is on the kincade fire. there are new developments tonight with several fires over the weekend in the bay area. >> investigators are pointing the finger at pg&e. with a look at which fires the utility is now under scrutiny for. >> we got new information about five different fires that happened sunday. during the high wind event. it points to possible equipment failure by pg&e. that fire destroyed one home and damaged another. along with several cars. in the report they said the fire department identified a downed pg&e wire as a possible source. >> two other fires that pg&e filed reports on happened in oakly. >> the fires combined burns thousands of acres. pg&e report on those fires they said fire investigators pointed to their equipment. as possible causes. >> the other type of information

from the fire department. with two fires in the area. >> fire investigators confirm the cause of both fires were power lines. it destroyed a tennis club. pg&e filed a report earlier this week stating that a downed power line might have caused that blaze. governor newsom spoke totd about what he thinks should be done with pg&e. >> there will be a new entity. it will be reimagined and reskuped. supported by a new blueprint and vision. that we will advance and secure. >> again pg&e has also been linked to the kincade fire that has burned tense of thousde of acresnd sng >> pg&e president and ceo under intense criticism for the blackouts and how he addressed people who can't afford to replace food that spoiled during
