>> it was just about 24 hours ago the gunfire broke out. >> about a hundred people running around outside. >> party goers were in a panic in that quiet neighborhood. four men were killed and four other people were hurt. >> live tonight with new details, kris? >> reporter: where this is the house where it happened at the top of the hill. this is as close as we've gotten, by the way, since police were called here on halloween. police have now identified all four victims shot and killed that night. >> i saw a lot of kids lying running in front to the backside of my house and there's something so wrong going on. >> reporter: this resident was one of a number of people who called 911 on halloween after a house party started to get chaotic.

by 11:00 p.m. thursday night shots had been fired killing four people and injuring four others. police have identified the victims. >> one other person who got killed at -- i do not know that person directly but it's one of my coworkers son's butty. they grew up together and he was a good kid. >> reporter: he was shot and is now in stable condition according to his dad. this is video inside the house party before the shooting. it was posted on social media. also circulating online a flier of the halloween mansion party. the 4,000 square foot house was rented on airbnb. this is the listing. a police source says the renter

claimed she was using the house for her and about a dozen family members trying to escape wildfire smoke. >> the neighbor kind of complained before because it was rented out for parties and stuff. >> reporter: in 2016 not even a mile from this shooting a man was beaten at a party that got out of control also at a house rented by airbnb. we brought up that incident by the way because we talked to many people who lived in the area who didn't want to go on camera who told me their worried about their homes in the neighborhood being rented out for parties. san francisco based airbnb issued a statement saying, quote, our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims of this abhorrent act as well as the neighbors of the home. the company says it's taken action to ban the booking guest from its platform. a deadly head on crash suv. the man driving the jeep was ejected from the car and dried

at the scene tragically. the firefighter behind the suv was taken to santa rosa hospital with moderate injuries. he's expected to be okay. the kinkade fire is 70% contained tonight. 174 homes have been destroyed and nearly 76,000 acres have burned. some mandatory evacuation orders do remain in effect. because cal firefighters are making good progress, they're continuing efforts to repopulate the area. while many residents have been allowed to return, some of them still don't have gas service. >> reporter: as you can see we're in downtown healdsburg, the power is back on, some stores open tonight. many of the owners we spoke with tonight say they're ready to get back to work and welcome you to this community. yes, there's no gas in

healdsburg, but the city is definitely not lacking any warmth. part of 11,000 people evacuated last saturday. yesterday many of them returned home and all with a new outlook. >> we're blessed to be here and our small community of healdsburg is just stronger today with what we've been through. >> reporter: we walked around the downtown area with the mayor of healdsburg. >> we have plans in place. those can always be updated and improved. same with the evacuation zone. >> reporter: after six days of being evacuated windsor and other communities along highway 101, these business toelebte life, community and their city. >> i did tell everybody who came in, i'm going to open sparkling, so everybody got sparkling to cheer with each other healdsburg being open. and they also want the rest
