talk about that commute. >> a live look at the san mateo bridge. nice and light. some people might have the day off for veterans day. thank you very much to the veterans for your service. drive times here, tracy33 minut. highway 101 to cupertino, 15 minutes here. the update this moollowing in s jose, southbound 101 before oakland road, two-car crash there blocking one of the lanes, all cleared up, we're looking at residual delays, speeds are down to 16, 12, 11 miles per hour. this morning workers at kaiser permanente were planning on starting a five-day strike but they postponed it after the sudden death of the company's ceo. >> bernard tyson died in his sleep early sunday morning at the age of 60. liz kreutz joins us live from the kaiser in fremont with more.

>> this is a shock to so many. tyson was known not only as a trail blazer in the health care industry but as a giant in the community at large. governor newsom expected his condolences over the loss, calling tyson a health care pioneer and dear friend. mark bennihoff said a light in this world has gone out and called dyson one ice tyson one t ceos. >> a lover of gospel music. gentle spirit. warm, compassionate and generous. >> ties seasyson is survived bhs and three sons. a group of roughly 4,000 health care workers here at kaiser that had planned to strike starting today say they will postpone out of respect. live at the kaiser permanente in fremont, liz kreutz, abc7 news.

abc7 news has been tracking the announcement of tyson's death since it was announced yesterday morning, you can also be the first to know with the abc7 news app. we are getting brand-new video into the live desk of intense clashes between pro democracy groups in hong kong. look at all of this unrest here. we're seeing more protests gather as these months of fighting seem to be reaching their worst. video shows a police officer shooting a protester and then putting them in critical condition. the demonstrators are calling for political reform and police accountability. we are also getting reports of a man being set on fire. video posted online shows him arguing with a group of protesters before someone douses him with a liquid and strikes a lighter. all of this happening during the monday morning commute.

cour newsom.g aas san francisco police are investigating what they call a suspicious death. the body was found on a golf course in the richmond district. officers searched the lincoln park golf course for clues saturday afternoon. that's when the body was discovered near the 13th hole. golfers tell abc news the body may have been a baby. the san francisco medical examiner will conduct an autopsy and other tests hoping to pinpoint a cause of death. developing news out of san francisco, growing outrage in the chinatown neighborhood after the beating and possible robbery of senior citizens. this haped happened saturday night. one victim was punched in the face and fell to the ground. over theenior citizens were brutally attacked in chinatown. betty lui said she worries for

peoples safety and the growing violence could drive visitors away from the neighborhood. >> that's my greatest fear. people have the perception that we are not -- that they will not be safe in chinatown. >> police are still searching for the suspects in this latest assault. they say the victims are recovering. in the east bay, contra costa county is going to take up a proposed ban on vaping products tomorrow. it would cover vaping products and the sale of menthol and other flavored tobacco products. it would only apply to unincorporated parts of the county. happening today, we'll see the new general manager of the san francisco giants give his first thoughts since being hired to run the team. scott harris was hired yesterday. the redwood city native was the former assistant gm of the cubs. the first order of business is finding bruce bochy's

happening now at the live desk, a manhunt is under way for this mantwanted ex-marine. he's believed to be dangerous and armed with a high powered rifle. deputies believe michael brown shot and killed a man at that man's home on saturday. investigators spotted brown on surveillance video at a local shop later on that day but have not seen him since. a possible motive is not clear.

brown is the son of that man's girlfriend. they also are not sure why brown left his marine base in north carolina last month. oscar winning couple frances mcdormond and joel cohen are suing their neighbors. they claim their neighbors are ignoring a historic boundary and intruding on their land. last year they went into mediation and reached an agreement for a green belt. cohen and mcdormand claim their neighbors landscaped that without a final settlement. the lawsuit is asking the court to enforce the settlement or recognize the historic boundary. i know you've been looking at the fog all morning long. is it kind of going away? >> yes. yes. thankfully those offshore breezes are coming out of the hills and mountains and scour out and bring in theooai i got nervous driving through

the macarthur maze this morning. thankfully i know it like the back of my hand having driven it for 13 years, but if you had not, it was a scary drive through there. now look, everything is clearing out as you look from sutro tower. look how calm and peaceful. such serenity on the bay this morning from our exploratorium camera at pier 15. patchy fog to high clouds and warmer than average temperatures this afternoon. high clouds means less fog tonight and milder temperatures this morning. a small blanket effect on us. above average temperatures now than below average. and then back above average. all right. let's look. any fog out there, look how quickly. watch the clock here from 7:15. it's gone in the next couple of hours. even at the coast it will go away for the better part of the day. let's see what it does to temperatures. we'll start at the coast. we have 70 at half moon bay. 76 at santa cruz. 70 heading into san francisco. average highs, 66 this time of year.
