one of the new suspects facing charges in the orinda airbnb shooting is due in court today. domico dones is charged with two felonies related to gun and ammunition possession. he was arrested thursday along with frederick johnson. earlier this month five other men were arrested in connection with the shooting, but the contra costa county district attorney's office did not end up filing charges. four juveniles in the east bay are in big trouble. police arrested them as suspects in a carjacking that ended in a crash. a pittsburg police officer spotted it on highway 4, that led to a high speed chase. the stolen car crashed while getting off i-680 on the gregory lane off-ramp. police arrested two suspects at the scene in pleasant hill. they found two more suspects a the a nearby shopping center. in all of this no one was hurt. fighting crime is something we're focused on as part of our effort to building a better bay area. some restaurant owners are trying to find solutions after several burglaries in the russian hill neighborhood.

martinez. 29-year-old domico dones is facing two felony gun charges. a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. he also has a prior felony conviction for second degree robbery in santa clara county. the atf tweeted pictures of the team that made arrests last week. two men were arrested. officials say that the investigation is sensitive so they won't release more information about how they're connected to the shootings, but the mayor says she is relieved to see arrests have been made. >> it's unsettling for all of the community, particularly for those who live in the neighborhood where it occurred. i've met with neighbors, i've talked with many people in the community, they're happy to see progress continuing to be made on this investigation. they're getting together with their neighbors and re-upping and making sure they have good nnneighbors.

>> reporter: the atf is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads them to thesible for halloween night in orinda. five people were killed while at a party at an airbnb rental. authorities say this is a very complex case, so if anyone has information they need them to come forward. live in martinez, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. at the live desk, several people have reportedly been taken into custody from a tent camp in front of oakland city hall at frank ogawawa plaza. this shows police taking some of those people away from what the group calls housing justice village. the charges they could face are not known at this time. the group is demanding an end to what they call a cruel and inhumane anti-homeless practice by the city.

>> there's been an increase in evictions, over the last two years there has not been any type of solutions to, like, this homelessness problem. >> the latest homeless count identified more than 4,000 homeless people in the city of oakland. the mayor's office responded to the encampment saying oakland supports every resident's right to peacefully protest. kumasi? >> thanks. in the south bay a man is dead after he was hit and killed by a car in san jose. it happened on the almaden expressway near curtner avenue. police say the man was crossing the street when a car hit him and he died at the scene. the driver is cooperating with police. alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the incident. this is san jose's 49th deadly traffic collision just this year. in the east day, neighbors say their sense of safety has been shattered by a deadly shooting that left two boys

dead. the victims were 11 and 14 years old. they were gunned down about 1:30 saturday morning as they sat in a van in the parking lot of an elementary school in union city. family, friends and neighbors gathered in front of a memorial yesterday. we talked to this mom, who didn't want to be identified, she tells us her son went to school with one of the victims and says her son is shaken. >> i don't think he quite grasped it yet. they're afraid to go outside. >> a city council member tells us police are getting help from other agencies from neighborhood patrols. police are investigating the possibility of a shooting on wednesday could be related. family, friends and fellow plays. >> reporter: honoring the memory of the laneny college football team who lost his battle with cancer. ramon sanders died friday. he was 19 years old. a concert was held at new beginnings church in oakland yesterday to remember the defensive lineman. sanders was supposed to attend this concert. they turned this into a tribute. doctors discovered he had bone cancer last november while

treating him for a broken leg. the cancer spread to his lungs. sanders received an outpouring of support from classmates, teammates and total strangers. at the live desk, a big blow to san francisco-based uber. the company's license to operate in london will not be renewed over safety concerns. transit officials there say it's because of several breaches that placed passengers and their safety at risk. they are also concerned that similar issues could happen again in the future. uber's license is set to expire tonight at midnight. the company is vowing to appeal the decision. they can continue to operate while it does. uber says the decision not to renew the london license is extraordinary and wrong. reggie and kumasi? >> thanks. a south bay charity will make sure thousands of people have a holiday dinner this year. why they're desperate for more help. and you're looking live at

welcome back. a weekend crackdown on illegal side shows paid off for oakland police. police shared these photos on twitter. officers towed one car for doing doughnuts saturday night. a police helicopter tracked it after it left the scene and led officers on the ground to that vehicle. police say they detained some spectator force throwing bottles at officers. the department is using extra staffing and help from neighboring cities to crack down on side shows. a san jose charity will begin distributing food baskets to families who could use a helping hand. >> but sacred heart hospital still needs your help in filling a tremendous need. lauren martinez has more. >> sacred heart has 1,800 turkeys. th they have a wall of holiday
