a lot of flights got delayed and canceled yesterday. i showed up and then it said 9:40 instead of 8:00. airport owe facials say the problems are because of a combination of bad weather here in the bay area and other parts of the country. you can track the weather from your phone. download the abc 7 news app. developing news this morning, a woman is dead after being hit by a vta train. it happened in san jose. it's not clear exactly what happened. the woman's name hasn't been released. stanford police want to find the person who groped a woman on campus as she was walking along escondido road towards ray's grill. a man grabbed her from behind and then ran off. in the north bay two men are in trouble for stealing $15,000 worth of lululemon merchandise.

this happened in the montgomeryvilleage shopping center yesterday afternoon. police say they assaulted a security gold nissan pathfinder. santa rosa police shared the information with other agencies and officers in petaluma ended up spotting the car. the suspects and stolen merchandise were inside. now both are in jail. police recovered three luxury vehicles stolen from a toyota dealership on geary boulevard. burglars broke in early saturday morning and took off with af audi s-5, a range rover and a lexus rc. police have not made any arrests but they did find the stolen vehicles. the audi and the lexus were abandoned in the bayview district. southern california congressman duncan hunter plans to change his not guilty plea today. he is accused of illegally dipping into campain funds to pay for vacations, video games and more.

upper 40s to low 50s until you get in the north bay. a few light showers heading up to discovery bay and highway 4 and eventually up to rio vista but they're very light. as we head through future radar at 7:00 this morning into the lunch hour you can see right along the san mateo county coast, you can see a few chances with a little energy moving through the bay area. again, the heaviest will be offshore. as we go through tomorrow morning everybody getting rain from the south. it'll be light but it will still hamper the morning commute. we have light rain which is still a 1 for thursday and then the heavier rain moves in with light to moderate rain friday.

happening right now at the live desk president trump and french president emmanuel macron are meeting in london. this comes on the heels of a two day nato summit. this meeting might be awkward. this morning president trump criticized macron for his comments on nato. macron said it's, quote, brain dead. trump called the comments insulting. we'll monitor what happens here and will bring you the latest. we are talking about the body language, when president trump met with vladimir putin and the awkward body language, we're seeing that this morning. it will be interesting to see what progresses. we are, of course, also watching the weather this morning. we were wondering if it's going to be raining a lot and it's not today. >> there are a few showers out there. i'm tracking them.

girl approach a group. she is asking them to give back her cell phone. they started pushing and shochg her. a man then gets involved. you see him in the denim jacket, in the dark pants. he was also attacked. ea witness who identified himself as an off-duty chp officer intervened to save the victim from the group of juveniles, about eight. the group then turned towards him and became violent with him. he was punched, kicked, taken to the ground, choked. he lost consciousness for a minute. >> reporter: when he regained consciousness he was able to pepper spray the victims and a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested. this happened at 8:00 friday night. this was black friday when there were a lot of shoppers out in emeryville. they've arrested the two but there are at least six others still on the loose. they are looking for them and, again, asking for any help. reporting live if emeryville,
