ogunbanju is no longer on the team. part of building a better bay area involves finding real solutions to stopping side shows and street racing in the south bay. they've had enough and want something done now. amanda del castillo is live for us tonight. >> reporter: city leaders have compared widespread issues of side shows and street racing to game of whack-a-mole. say they're doing what they can to help discourage this bad behavior. earlier this year gave police the green light to crack down on the crowds that come with the crime. this sound, this scene, far too common across the bay area. those living near hillsdale and vista park in san jose say noise of rubber ripped through the

we have seen some brazen and heinous crimes on public transit in the bay area but one we're going to share takes the cake. video in monitor from phoenix, man attacks a woman and dumps her out of a wheelchair. outrageous video. man seen stealing a wheelchair rom a woman on light rail hair train. fellow passengers rushed to help her. one chasing after the suspect on the platform, causing him to dump the wheelchair as he ran o off. he was arrested by phoenix police on saturday. >> when the community knows that someone is in need, they're wonderful coming forward with information. could be small piece of large puzzle but help investigators crack the case open. >> silent witness, nonprofit group that's member of crime

116% of normal. hope we continue the trend of wet weather here and white stuff in the mountains. temperatures from 30s to 50s across the region as we look at morning temperatures, start out 40s, 50s for most of you, watch out for dense fog, lake porj tho down to the 40s. will be cloudy, cool, mostly 50s. then storm impact scale, level one tomorrow night into wednesday morning. best case of showers is north bay tuesday. scattered light showers anywhere on wednesday. a few hundreds up to quarter inch of rain. not big impact. looking at clouds, 8:00 p.m.,p., few showers develop in north bay and spread possibly to east bay by 10:00 p.m. spotty showers
