a tragedy overseas in the czech republic, at least six people are dead after a shooting at a university hospital here at the live desk. i have new video of the investigation. police are still searching for the gunman. authorities say a man opened fire in the eastern city near the polish border. he killed six and hurt two others. the head of the hospital said all of the victims are patients. they were shot in close range. investigators do not yet know a motive for the attack. kumasi? >> thank you, jobina. he may look like a salesman peering into this home but he's about to commit a crime and he has help. police say he was on the phone with an accomplice when he targeted a home on skyline drive just two days before thanksgiving. he used a window punch to

shatter a sliding glass window. they say the elderly resident inside interrupted him after hearing the glass breaking. the man ran away and hasn't been caught. he was posing as a salesman to determine which homes were empty during the holidays. new developments with a cal football player accused of trying to carjack a police officer sunday morning. the daily california reports that joseph ogunbanjo is no longer on the team. they found the allegations troubling. there is concern about his well-being. he's facing several charges including carjacking and battery of a police officer. abc 7 news learned a woman who delivers dogs for a living will be cited after someone stole her van filled with pups. the van disappeared early yesterday morning from a hotel parking lot in fremont. hours later investigators located the van in oakland. there were 24 dogs inside. police are trying to determine if any of the dogs are missing.

julie bingham says the door was locked but left it open so they had ventilation, food and water. >> i don't know what i could have done differently, honestly. i couldn't drive anywhere else. i was exhausted. >> oakland police arrest add person in the van and said the accused thief was trying to sell the dogs. a second man was detained that said he was just trying to buy one. a hazmat situation in the east bay. people had to evacuate a biotech company yesterday afternoon. the alameda fire department says somebody put a chemical in a tub of water that created a reaction, sparked a fire and the room got hot. luckily no one was hurt. new information about the death of rapper juice wrld. what officials have revealed about his official cause of death. >> every time i get the orders and deliveries, i spread my

just a reminder where we started the rainfall season less than 3% of average for everybody. that was up to the 25th, a couple days before thanksgiving. 121% in the north bay while the south bay is at 70% and the peninsula 76%. oakland 56. our east bay valleys only 33%. how about the reservoirs. they never do quite sit at capacity. historically they're below capacity. we're still going to use capacity as a measurement of where they are now from 83% to 48%. so there's still plenty of room

involving an e. coli outbreak. the fresh express sunflower crisp chopped salad kit is contaminated. health officials say three people had to go to the hospital after they ate this salad. investigators now are still trying to figure out what ingredient is bad. they say it may be related to the e. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce. the cdc says do not eat it, throw it away. the new england patriots say a film crew they hired inappropriately filmed the field and sidelines of sunday's bengals and browns game. the film crew was shadowing an advanced scout's life on the road. that is a no-no for the nfl if you're an opposing team. the pats, of course, infamously videotaped the jets in 2007 in a scandal known as spy gate. that resulted in the team getting a $250,000 fine.
