we had an explosion of sewage. i'm not joking. through the toilet. >> more sewage problems in san francisco. another family forced out of their home because of the heavy rain. >> the latest problem is in the sunny side neighborhood north of city college of san francisco. we spoke to a homeowner who says this issue keeps getting worse with every rainstorm. >> it does. the family is spread across san francisco. for the last three days they sleptd at friends and family homes and hoping to get back to hair house before christmas. >> this was the moment the family feared the most. >> first thing i thought of. i have to go check downstairs.

we have a line of showers here and some isolated downpours. the focus of of the system pushing on shore is mainly in the north bay. it looks like a vertical line of showers from west to east. it will continue to move in that direction. this storm ranks 1 on the impact scale. light intensity. tonight and tomorrow we expect light nod rat showers. totals in the north bay with light winds. 6:00 p.m. notice we'll see another batch of showers beginning to push into the central area. and then that will be followed by more concentration in the north bay. and over night we'll see lighter but widely scattered showers which means there will be wet areas for morning commuters. i'll give you a closer look. >> police in san francisco arrested man wanted for at least six burglaries over the last

month. 43 year-old was arrested last week when officers spotted him on market street. he had an active washt warrant out and found burglarly tools on him. he's the suspect in five commercial burglaries in the central district. >> in the east bay some of the dogs that were in the stolen van are still missing today. one is a three month old puppy on its way to the forever home in washington state. we talked to the dog owner who are pleading for his safe return. >> this is him. he's very distinct looking. he is a reddish brown color. with hazel eyes. and white markings. >> it's been 24 hours since the stolen van filled with dog was found in oakland. her puppy is missing. >> this morning we found out from the animal services that tt

our pup was not recovered from the van. >> she lives in washington. she says this 3 month old english bulldog was one of fwo dozen dogs being transported in the van. he was one of a few of the dogs not a rescue. >> found one from a breeder in kansas. and we have been waiting a while for him to be born. and old enough to come be with us. >> on monday police recovered the van that was stolen over night in fremont. >> we were able to ping the van. and the location. >> police arrested thief and rescued 24 dogs. a few remane missing. the suspect may have tried to sell some of the dogs. >> as far as who he may have been sold to, was he sold before or after the van was stolen. there's unknown factors. that's not helping. >> the unknown and the
