raiders game at the coliseum in 1966. he told abc 7 news on saturday he wanted to be at the last game but didn't have a ticket. the team saw our story and treated dave to seats in a luxury box. >> so, you had to go to the last game at the coliseum. >> i had to, i had to. i didn't have a ticket. i said i'm going to go there anyway and one way or another i'll get one. i didn't know it was going to go this way. it's beautiful. i'm a lucky man. >> cornell barnard, abc 7 news. the oakland raiders formed as a team in 1960. they struggled. then things changed in '63 when the raiders hired al davis as the head coach. starting in 1965, the raiders had winning records in 19 of the next 20 years. the coliseum opened in '66 and the raiders won three super bowls and is the only team to play in the super bowl in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. the team moved back to oakland

either on the driver es window or windshield. a new navigation center in san francisco that officials hope will build a better bay area is moving forward. abc 7 news contributor and chronicle insider phil mattie says it will open this week. it cost $4 million to build and it's the first navigation center in san francisco located in an area that's mainly made up of peoples' homes. south beach residents have fought against it. mayor london breed plans to lead a tour of the facility for reporters and others on tuesday. sonoma county plan to unveil a proposal to shelter homeless at the fairgrounds. about 3,000 people are homeless in sonoma county and a large encampment has established. the idea of housing people at the fairgrounds was inspired by how the fairgrounds was used to

today marks the the official start to commercial crab season here in the bay area. the season was supposed to start on november 15th but it was delayed a month. >> abc 7 news reporter lauren martinez joins us live from pier 47 in san francisco. with more, lauren. >> reporter: dion and eric, you know the whales migrating south is the main reason behind the delay. but starting from 3:00 this afternoon, boats have been off loading thousands of pounds of crab. they say aside from rough weather out there, today was a good start.

who had the honor of lighting the torch. i caught up with some of those legendary alumni to get their thoughts on the final sunday in oakland. what does the city of oakland mean to this franchise? >> this is the raiders. you know, oakland is the raiders. and i know the raiders are going to vegas and they'll have -- they'll be called the raiders. i don't know if it'll be the las vegas, vegas raiders or how it will be. but nay lot of peoples' minds and hearts, this will always be the oakland raiders. 1966 this stadium was built for the oakland raiders so this is always going to be home. >> i feel bad for the fans we are leaving. they've been so loyal, so supportive over the years and you won't find a more eclectic group of fans than you will here. >> i started here when the place opened in '66 so to me this place is a beautiful place. i don't know why they want to move. but it's happy because it's almost like where you lived in a
