police are now calling a fatal hit-and-run yesterday morning a homicide. they found a body in the middle of the street and a loaded gun not far away. police later found out there was an argument between two men that night and one man shot the other. the shooter tried to run away, however police say a woman you can see her here sabrina gutierrez, ran over him and killed him. she's a relative of the man who was shot. police arrested her and booked her into santa clara county jail for murder. the town of newman held a vigil over the first anniversary of the death. he was shot and killed by a suspected drunk driver during a traffic stop one year ago today. the suspect went onto lead law enforcement on a 2 1/2 long day manhunt before being captured. his brother still overwhelmed by what happened of course spoke to the crowd tonight. >> your family loves y

my brother we miss you, we love you so much. >> a year later still so painful. hundreds of supporters let ow balloons as you see and led a procession to theewly dedicated flagpole marking where he died. he was 33 years old. a red wood tree fell and killed a man on christmas eve. the 28-year-old man from minnesota was walking with two other people on a marked trail when a 200 foot tall tree pinned him against the trunk. a woman was injured by fallen debris and taken to the hospital. another man hiking with the group was not injured. park rangers call it a very rare and isolated event. we've never heard it happen before there and say recent wet storms may have weakened the dirt supporting the tree. people turn to alternatives to deal with the soaring cost of housing. it's one of the solutions we're

a san francisco woman has a warning tonight for travelers given the option of having a third party app deliver their bags when they don't arrive in sync with their flight. >> it comes after she says more than $4,000 in items disappeared. >> reporter: newly engaged she didn't wait to spend christmas with her fiance's family in

indianapolis, but when thacouple arrived they realized their bags did not. united airlines offered to have a third party vendor deliver the suitcases. >> i went through everything and realized about 60% of my belongings were gone including my most valuable items. >> reporter: more than $4,000 worth of belongings missing including all the christmas gifts for her fiance's family. >> it was heart breaking. i felt terrible to come here pretty much with nothing to give them for christmas. >> reporter: her fiance's bag was also missing 300 to $400 worth of items. the couple went to indiana national airport to speak to the reps directly. >> one of the reps told me i shouldn't have packed such nice things in my luggage in order to avoid this. >> reporter: she posted the story to tace book which her
