on magnolia street last november. on friday, a judge gave them five business days to leave or be evicted. the sheriff's officeusing to le without confrontation. the group responded last night saying they do not plan on accepting that offer. some developing news this morning, one of the last all-girl catholic high schools in san francisco is helping students following word that the school will be shutting down. some parents that we spoke with on 19th avenue say the announcement was somewhat of a surprise. friday night the school saidtn june. that email said the school had been running on a deficit for more than two years. the school says they would have to charge an extra $5,000 in tuition to be able to stay open. there had been rumors of turning mercy into a coed school, but leaders say that is not an option. they ran through possible transfer options for studts.

showdown. ising to send articles of is omimpeac to the senate setting the stage for an historic trial. on gma this morning, david wright explained details on what to expect this week. >> this is set to be a momentous week here in washington as the impeachment process resumes after a brief break over the holidays. house democrats are expected to discuss impeachment at their caucus on tuesday and after that, the full house will vote to appoint managers for the case and they will thenote to transmit the articles of impeachment over to the senate. that means that the soonest an impeachment trial could begin in the senate would be wednesday. for now, speaker pelosi appears to have lost her effort to convince senate republicans to allow witnesses in the trial. but there is still some room for that to change if they can convince four senate republicans to break ranks. >> david, senator mcconnell has said that he wants to use the clinton impeachment trial as a

precedent here. does that give us a sense of how long president trump's trial could take? >> reporter: it gives us a possibility. that trial began almost exactly at this time of year, january 7th, and it was over in just over a month. they were a couple of days for the managers to present their case, among them a young congressman, lindsey graham. a few days for the president to mount a defense. and all of this presided over by the chief justice, you see him time. it takes place ist at the against a backdrop of the beginning of primary season, that could cause a problem for the five senate democrats who are normally out on the campaign trail. >> and that was david wright reporting there. nancy pelosi says she believes the senate majority leader, mitch mcconnell, would be accountable on his decision on whether or not to allow witnesses to the american people. >> 70% of the american people
