the game tomorrow and 49ers' road to the championship, abc7news.com. pedestrian walking on southbound lanes was hit and killed by car this evening. just before 8:00 near the cesar chavez off-ramp, had been walking on the shoulder next to the fast lane. all lanes were closed while authorities investigated. it is not clear why the person was walking on the freeway. oakland police looking for drive involved in hit and run. mother killed picking up daughter from middle school. >> lauren martinez has the latest. >> we're just in shock right now. >> reporter: manages the wash house located a few doors down from where singleton was killed by hit-and-run driver. while she was picking up her daughter from elmhurst.

now to breaking news in pleasanton, a tesla has crashed and burst into flames. >> nearby roads closed for hours. lauren martinez joins us now, i know you just arrived. what can you tell us? >> reporter: dion and eric, pleasanton police are investigating this single vehicle crash that involved a tesla. alameda county coroner's office is here. trying to see if anyone else was involved, other than the driver. driver driving down hacienda haa
