director larry beil live from levi stadium where you saw the domination. >> reporter: for the second straight playoff game, you're absolutely right, and the 49ers are heading to the super bowl for the first time since the 2012 season bound for miami, which the faithful will remember it was the scene of their last super bowl win. that was 25 years ago, and today the story the nfc championship game, the star was not jimmy g. it wasn't george kittle. it wasn't necessarily richard sherman. it was raheem mostard. he's such a great story. he began the year as the third string tail back, previously cut by six other teams before finding a home with the 49ers, and today his home was the end zone. he rushesirs way to a 37-20 win over the packers, and the celebration after the game just filled with emotion. you could see it there. remember, the 9ers were 4 and 12

ncht . three people were shot this evening. gunfire erupted at a shopping center around 7:30. witnesses told officers the suspected shooter ran north away from the crime scene. officers found him in a parking lot off moraga road. he too was suffering from a gunshot wound. it is not known who shot him. police recovered a gun near the suspect. officers believe there is no one else outstanding. there have been two deadly hit and runs in oakland in just the past three days. >> abc 7 news reporter kate larson was at the scene of this morning's crash near lake merritt where neighbors are not necessarily surprised by the reckless driving. >> reporter: on sunday just after 1:00 in the morning, oakland p.d. says this audi crashed into this subaru at grand avenue and mcarthur boulevard. the damage to both cars was significant, but the audi's driver and two passengers, all men, were able to get out of the

wrecked car and run away from the scene. the driver of the subaru, a 42-year-old woman from oakland was taken to highland hospital where she later died. with 580 here with some major thoroughfares there's bound to be traffic in this area, but from what neighbors tell me it's how people choose to drive that's the real problem. >> it's really scare try to me, lot of times i ask that people would slow down a little bit. >> i think when someone hits and run, i mean, that is just terrible because it could be your brother or sister and how could you just leave. to me that's heartless. >> okay there's always those few rotten apples that just kind of ruins it for everybody and speeds through. >> reporter: on friday another woman was killed by a hit and run driver in oakland, 40-year-old maesha singleton was walking across the street in a crosswalk to pick up her child from school when she was hit at 98th avenue and cherry street by

a speeding car that took off. the suspect vehicle is a newer nissan maxima. oakland police are investigating both deadly wrecks. police say a tesla model s involved in a fiery pleasanton crash that killed a driver reignited after it was towed away from the scene. firefighters were called to the tow lot to extinguish the burning battery a second time. last night the car took out a traffic signal near hacienda drive and slammed into a wall. witnesses tried pulling the driver to safety, but the flames were too intense. >> back in november the national highway safety administration began looking into tesla car fires. there have been other incidents of tesla batteries catchin ftan after a crash like this one in mountain view in 2018. the feds requested documents from tesla after some owners filed a potential class action lawsuit. tesla has called lithium ion battery fires extraordinarily

impact scale. never too early to look at the weather in miami, especially two weeks from now. it's going to be a lot different than the bay area, especially on sunday as the 9ers play the chiefs, it's going to feel warm in miami under mostly sunny skies. there is a chance of a shower, but that's florida for you this time of the year. back here at home, we have cooled off into 40s, 42 in santa rosa, 42 in napa, 49 in the city, 47 in fremont. here's live doppler 7. the last six hours a lot of cloud cover ahead of our next front. you see a little light rain off the coast. that will be the instigator for coastal drizzle first thing tomorrow morning. the real rain event holds off. overnight tonight, coastal drizzle. a lot of cloud cover out there. numbers not falling too far from where they are right now. most cities will hold in the low and mid-40s first thing tomorrow morning. tomorrow with a lot of cloud cover, limited sunshine, numbers

are below average for this time of the year. pretty much no matter where you live in the bay area, you'll top out in the low to mid-50s. fast forward into tuesday. the storm impact scale, level one light system moving in on tuesday. our next cold front will bring light showers. rainfall less than half an inch, and it's breezy at times but not all that windy. future weather we get you to 5:00, 6:00 a.m. on tuesday morning. light rain first arrives in the north bay, and then that front will move south throughout the morning and into the early afternoon. as it does, it kind of falls apart. not nearly as much rainfall as that storm we had last thursday, which brought more than an inch in a lot of spots. the heaviest rainfall will be in the north bay. that's your best bet of finding more than a quarter inch of rain. here's the accuweather seven-day forecast, tomorrow some coastal drizzle. a lot of cloud cover, here's that light rain on tuesday. after that a dry pattern for the rest of the workweek. by friday it's mild and next

now, along with the wind itself, tonight's nfc championship game did have some trending moments after rob lowe's nfl logo hat grabbed some attention. next he responded on twitter while the 49ers had a significant lead saying he didn't expect the hat to be the most interesting part of the game another viral moment, george kittle's postgame press conference t-shirt showing a shirtless jimmy garoppolo. we do have an explanation. that is coming up tonight in sports. and another tweet we enjoyed from abc 7 morning anchor jobina fortson, this is showing her seat mates on a flight back to the bay area both tuned into the game. all those feet up in the air. >> trust me, rob lowe's hat was

manteca unified school district has placed a bus driver on administrative leave while it investigating an incident involving claims of erratic driving. those claims come from the elementary school students riding home from school on thursday. parents told school officials their kids were calling them crying and scared saying the bus driver was driving in circles over curbs. the district then notified parents they needed to pick up their children from the school. >> my daughter's crying her eyes out. she's like -- says she has a headache. she has to use the bathroom and then all the parents, everybody's crazy. all the kids are crying. >> school officials said the bus driver told the district's director of transportation that student behavior was interfering with school bus safety and returned them to the school. the district has apologized to parents. it is now checking video from
