it is called the fair chance housing ordinance to prevent criminal background collection on potential ten ants. the city council did it as way to address homelessness and those passed through the criminal justice system a chance to find housing of the one showed the majority of those in homeless camps were formally incarcerated. those who own rental properties are worried about the implications. >> i think he can speak for most landlords, knowing someone's criminal background is an important thing to know about their tenant worthiness. this is a law that was enacted in seattle. it is being challenge in the seattle and it will probably face a legal challenge here. >> reporter: at stake is whether property own the right to do criminal background check because they face liability for things could happen on their property if they rent to the wrong person.

over a driver on a suspected dui. they were about to conduct a field sobriety test on that driver when another car started driving right at them. officers fired their weapons, shooting the droifr. >> we don't know how many people are involved or if other vehicles are involved or others in the nearby vicinity. >> police stay two men did not know each other. the suspect was taken away in hand cuffs in an ambulance. court cases in santa clara were interrupted by a bomb threat. serving okay now. just a reiomb threat to the downtown superior court house and old county both were evacuated. people slowly filing back inside two hours later.

track of? >> the second they know i like about social security, you get a check. the second thing is you get a cost of living increase. we've had low inflation so the cost living increase this year for 2020 is 1.6%. if you took it earlier, 1.6% on a small number on $1,500 is about $2,500 more a month. if you delay it until later, and you had a check of 3,000 or $3,900, 1.6 on a bigger number is more cash used to pay bills and things like that. >> putting it off just keeps paying and paying. >> it is hard to do that. you have to stretch because we're you a living longer and longer. >> should you bridge money with your 401(k) money? >> it is a math problem. we advise our clients, spend down the assets which we tell you never to do so you can delay taking your social security. that will be recurring income over the next 10, 20, 30 years for some people. actually a single person over their lifetime, if they have their full retirement benefits,
