bay area in santa clara county. the abc reporter joings us live from san jose with what we know about the patient in the south bay. >> reporter: good evening guys. we know this woman arrived on january 23rd from china and she had been to wuhan. the health officials say she is not related to the man who on friday became the first bay area person identified with the coronavirus. public health officials also want to emphasize that neither patient was sick enough to be hospitalized. >> she's been at her family's home since her arrival and has not left home except to seek medical care. she's a mild illness and has sought outpatient treatment two times. >> reporter: the woman flu into

wrong every single week. >> reporter: and this restaurant was busy. people buying party provisions with every register open. >> we like to think of this as our super bowl. it is a really busy day for us. >> i have chips, you have to have guac. >> go jimmy g, baby! >> reporter: we found some kansas city fans. >> we had the 49er fans walk in. oh, this is a chiefs bar. and they walked right out. >> reporter: and these people were getting ready for a super block party and the fans don't come any bigger than john marksman. he has created his very own niner kay. check it out. a red and gold tribute to the team. he would trade all of this memorabilia for a super bowl win. >> i'm out of my skin right now. it's just amazing. i didn't get much sleep last night.

>> reporter: even the abc7 news gang couldn't resist this video. ♪ >> reporter: i have to till, i cannot get enough of that. very, very funny. parties are happening everywhere in the bay area. especially in san francisco's mission district where police officers are standing by and so is my colleague, luz pena. what's happening out there? >> reporter: a lot has happened here in the san francisco mission district. the excitement can be felt this almost every single corner. we're here at 24th street. san francisco pd is getting ready to respond for several street cultures. i want to show you this map. heads up. there will be several street closures in san francisco because of the super bowl. between mission and caesar chavez and 24th street will close. as well as 24th street between bartlett and portrero avenue.

we have new developments from ant i don't know. a 6-year-old boy has died during a fight that followed a high school basketball game. that fight erupted in the parking lot on deer valley high on friday. they had just had a game against ant i don't know. so far police have not made any arrests. deer valley high plans to have grief counsellors on campus to assist students and staff

tomorrow. a san francisco restaurant was hit by a thief overnight. the entire safe there was stolen when the thief couldn't crack the lock. in hayes valley, they have security cameras in the office so it was all caught on camera about 4:00 this morning. you can see the man there struggle with the safe under the table. he finally gives up, lugs the whole thing out of the office. inside the safe was all the cash from saturday night which the general manager estimates was about $5,000. >> it is unfortunate but it is not something that would really affect the business. i wanted to reach out to the community actually to find someone that can recognize the suspect. >> the general manager said this has made him consider going cashless but san francisco actually banned cashless stores and restaurants last year. berkeley city council is hoping the build a better bay area thank you new measure to give rv camparies safe place to park.

up to 25 rvs would be allowed to park at city lots. people living the would receive social services and get help finding a local place to live. some councilmembers are critical because it doesn't really help many people. a survey in 2018 found nearly 300 rv campers in the berkeley area. the council will meet next tuesday to discuss and vote on the measure. in the east bay, another effort to build a better bay area. the city of fremont plans to place boulder orders a road outside of tesla to stop homeless from parking their rvs there. starting thursday they'll put boulders throughout the busy industrial district. the area is seeing a recent rise in homeless people taking up residence inside their rvs. it includes truckers. any remaining vehicles will be removed. moving from june to march isn't the only big change with california's primary this year. >> when you can start casting
