multiple times. you know, as an offense, we just didn't get it done. >> everyone is disappointed, and they should be. i wouldn't expect anything different and guys put their heart into the season and came up one game short. extremely proud of us and everything, but this is going to take a little time to get over. but we'll be all right. >> obviously, a game of wild momentum swings. something that kind of caught the eye of myself and social media, late in the first half the 49ers had a chance to call a time-out and get the ball with 1:40, 1:50 to go. instead they play it conservative and not call time-out. big stop with 1:50 to go. they force the chiefs to sxunt kyle shanahan did not time-out and gm lynch was signaling time-out from the booth. they got the ball back. that kittle catch was called offensive pass interference with the kittle pushoff and go into halftime tied 10-10. >> we were good with that situation, very good. we do that every single time.

especially with us starting the ball in the third quarter. once we realize we did get the first, we took our shot. we would have got points from that. we had that unfortunate penalty. >> ref made the call. i got to live with it. that's what it is. the ref makes a call, i live with it. >> i don't don't get to see it very well from the sideline but i was surprised how much they were letting the game go. >> the tough thing about football in the playoffs, it's a one-game scenario. unlike basketball, baseball, hockey, it's a whole series. the playoffs, one game decides the whole season. tough way for the 49ers to end the season. they were 4-12 last year and 40 other teams would have liked to have been in this game. >> that's true. and it's four individual quarters. you got to win them all, pretty much, and we didn't. >> yeah. i mean, the kansas city chiefs' offense came up explosive.
11:57 pm
patrick mahomes, this whole postseason he's been able to come from all sorts of deficits. they scored 21 unanswered and beat the 49ers. >> can we end on a light night. can you share with us one of your favorite moments from your miami trip? >> wow. that's a good one. i like the adventures of the unicorn. that unicorn, if you saw on social media, our producer bought it for his daughters. we're looking forward to getting back to the bay area. >> that's it for tonight. >> have the number of uninsurising.ricans, the cost of prescription drugs, rising.

the threat to people with pre-existing conditions, rising. the good news, so is support for the one candidate who'll do something about it. as mayor, mike bloomberg helped expand coverage for seven hundred thousand people, including hundreds of thousands of kids. including hundreds of thousands of kids. as president, he'll lower drug costs and ensure everyone without coverage can get it. that's a promise. and unlike him, mike actually keeps his. i'm mike bloomberg and i approve this message.
