stape -- much why it was taped off. you can see flashing lights where the house is located. this is, as you said a very unusual scene for this normally quiet neighborhood in brisbane. >> about 4:19 p.m., police officers responded to the 300 block of alvarado street. >> reporter: the resident was safe inside and now cooperating with police. >> we don't have quite the details yet. it sounds like the intruder was the one shot. >> reporter: according to police there was no threat to the neighborhood and that the crime was isolated to the one house. police are still trying to determine if there was a connection between the resident and person shot. >> we pride ourselves on our citizen and community here. and we don't have very much violent crimes here in brisbane. it's a very safe community, i have to say. >> and i just checked in with police. no new details to report.

so, they've not officially said where in the system those patients are. however, here multiple employees told me today they received an email that said the two corona virus patients were transferred here. there were only a few to be found that -- the husband recen travelled travelled to wuhan, came home and had symptoms the next day. his wife now has it, leading them to call it a person-to-person contact. >> they're in an isolated room. >> dr. cofax does not want the community to over react, particularly because there have been no coronavirus cases in the city. >> we've activated our medical response team. we've done this before.

if they could drive at the church, that would be great. but they don't have the dedicated space to do that. >> reporter: they run as a homeless youth shelter seven nights a week. but rising rent is forcing the shelter to find a different location. >> they need bigger space and more dedicated space and they need it in berkeley. >> reporter: he says roughly 20 to 30 young people, ages 18 to 24, stay at the church each night. but the church feel said the young people need a more stable environment. >> for years they've been sleeping on mats because we can't give them the dedicated spaces. >> reporter: he says they're still in negotiations with the shelter, so nothing is final just yet and they won't be kicking them out. >> as long as they have no other place to go, they have somewhere to stay with us. it's just not an ideal situation.

it is crystal clear from our emory vill camera, we're looking at the eastern span of the bay view bridge. dry pattern, really sunny through the weekend. gradual warming is expected to begin midweek. here's one of the things going on. when you take a look at the dew point to measure the moisture in the air, it's extremely dry. 18 degree dew point. look, we're usually talking about dew points in the 40s, 50s. you may be feeling it. the wind is still howling over the higher elevations. gusts to 54 and that northerly wind is a down sloping wind. so, definitly holding the temperatures up tonight. tomorrow afternoon a sunny day. 54 in the city, 56 oakland. 58 in santa rosa, mid-50s around napa, and san jose --. looking for rain? southern california gets it monday.
