u.s. states. two in illinois, one each in massachusetts, arizona, and washington. california has had a total of six cases. two of those in santa clara county. we know two coronavirus patients are now being treated in san francisco. >> they were moved to ucsf but officials do not want the community to react. abc 7 news reporter amy hollyfield is live at the hospital with the latest. amy? >> reporter: hi, good morning, kumasi. they point out the couple was not diagnosed here, was just transferred here to ucsf parnassus campus and they are in isolation. the man and the woman have been brought here, but no coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in the city. the male patient here recently traveled to wuhan, china, and developed symptoms soon after returning to california, and now his wife has it, too. they are both 57 years old. public health officials say they are taking every precaution.

novato, 46. san carlos and hayward at about 42 and 40. san mateo bridge got a little bit of a crosswind at about 20 miles an hour so you'll feel a tug at the steering wheel and on many of our east/west bridges this morning, that's why i have caution for your commute. fair in mass transit due to wind chills and brisk over the bay. here is a look at what's going on in the north bay. 30s at 7:00. 40s at 9:00. from 52 at 11:00 to nearly 60 at 3:00 down to 47 at 7:00. as far as the east bay, the same kind of thing, 39 at 7:00. 44 at 9:00. and then from 11:00 through at least 6:00 low to mid-50s. and our last stop san francisco where we have temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. 45 to 48 from 7:00 to 9:00. need the sunglasses today. remember, the breezes will make it feel cooler than that, 56. that will top out at 3:00. we'll take a look at 60s in the forecast before another shot of cooler weather on the way. jobina? thank you, mike this is

video just now coming in to our newsroom out of santa rosa of a deadly crash on the bicentennial off ramp from northbound 101. it was shut down overnight. this crash happend shortly after midnight between a semi and a car. you can see, unfortunately, the car ended up underneath the semi. the off ramp opened up just before 4:30 this morning. again, this is a deadly situation. everything is back open there am we are thinking of those impacted by the awful crash you can see on your screen. out to the studio now a look at the posey tube closure i've been reminding you all of, weekdays from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. so still in effect for a little bit longer. this work will continue through march. just be aware of those closures. again a live look at the golden gate bridge. things are looking very clear here. i'm not seeing any wind advisories or fog. nice and smooth as well as in san jose, 87 here, a very clear ride this morning. we'll pull up some drive times before we go. santa rosa to petaluma.

location. >> they need a bigger space and more dedicated space, too, and they need it in berkeley. >> reporter: the lead pastor says roughly 20 to 30 young people ages 18 to 24 years old stay at the church each night, but the church feels these young people need a more stabilized environment. >> for years they've been sleeping on mats in one of our rooms because we can't give them the dedicated space because our church has a number of other renters. >> reporter: the pastor says they're still in negotiations with the shelter, so nothing is final just yet and they won't be kicking them out. >> as long as they have no other place to go, they're certainly welcome to stay with us. it's just not an ideal situation. >> reporter: the pastor says the nonprofit that runs the shelter has been looking at a new location well over a year now before their contract expired with them in december. reporting in berkeley, lauren martinez, abc 7 news. the university of california is considering getting rid of the s.a.t. and act requirement

the winds are going to eventually settle as high pressure takes over our neighborhoods. look at this, from our roof camera you can see the flags on the ferry building completely unfurled by that 20 to 25-mile-per-hour wind. and it is coming a little more out of the northeast that will bring us slightly milder temperatures today even though it will be sunny and breezy. actually it will bring us back to average after being cooler than average. above average wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday. and i looked for two weeks -- two weeks ahead, i should say, still no sign of rain. you can see we're just stuck in this bowl of dry and eventually warming air. 56 today in san francisco and also in half moon bay. most of us about, say, 57, 58 degrees. we do have a 60 in santa rosa. here is a look at tonight's temperatures, some mid to upper 30s for most of us with those calmer conditions. it'll be cooler again and oakland, richmond, san rafael, san francisco and half moon bay 40. it'll be cooler overall whereas

we have several people at the station we work with who have allergies so every morning i check to see how they're doing this time of the year. one of them, i won't mention her name, but unless she lets me, i'll have to ask her, was really struggling. i'll see if there's a new allergy report. sure enough it's out and it's worse. tree pollen, not only has that risen just a little bit so have mold spores. if you have an issue with that went from low to moderate over the last couple of days. a look at the freeze warning. b.a.r.t. is making some adjustments to its schedule set to take effect on monday. increased peak service for concord riders. earlier service for most lines and later direct evening service from san francisco to warm springs.

that has been a pain. participate of b.a.r.t.'s new train cars. better tracking in the transbay tube. a nonprofit group is helping children live healthier lives. abc 7 was at san jose's arbuckle elementary school where they sponsored vision, hearing and dental exams yesterday. the foundation has done more than 323,000 health screenings in the last six years. >> there's a very strong correlation between good health and good academic success and what we work hard to do is to break down the barriers for families and youth to get proper care for screenings and health management services. >> the healthier kids foundation assists families in obtaining medical insurance. the smash hit musical "hamilton" is coming to movie theaters.

you have sensitive plants, pets and pipes, through 9:00 this morning. take a look at temperatures. remember, the winds are still up so the sheltered valleys will be the coolest places like calistoga at 26. rohnert park at 32. everywhere else we're in the upper 30s to mid-40s. so the frost and the threat of frost not likely in some of these areas. if you live in some of these other ones, that's where you'll be dealing with the coldest weather this morning. the rest of us wind chills. temperatures up to ten degrees cooler than what it looks like outside. jobina? good morning, everyone. a couple quick things to talk about. first off, road work on the upper deck of the bay bridge. for those early birds heading out the door and you're making your way westbound on the bay bridge, just check out the speeds here, down to about 20 and 22 miles per hour and that is due to road work. when i went over the bridge this morning around 2:45 the left two lanes were still closed. i'll keep checking on that.
