nightmarish. after three weeks of debate and no witnesses called, the republican-led senate voted today to acquit donald trump on both articles of impeachment. after the vote, the president celebrated on the roof of the capitol building with senators lindsey graham and mitch mcconnell in the traditional gatorade dump. very sexy. minority leader said from here on, trump's presidency will always have an asterisk next it. the lone republican senator who voted guilty was mitt romney of utah who said corrupting an election to keep oneself in office is perhaps the most abusive and destructive violation of one's oath of office that i can imagine. well, you know, give him time. whatever you're imagining, i'm sure he'll come up with something much, much worse. romney was actually choking back tears as he explained his

decision, because he knows the president is about to order the space force to attack his home state of utah. in five minutes, romney laid waste to almost every argument trump's defenders made, that what he did was clearly impeachable. he said history will judge those who stand with the president and then he chugged a carton of milk and threw it on the ground. i think he deserves that. [ applause ] there was some hope that susan collins of maine would join romney, but instead of the right thing, she decided to do the wrong thing. of all the silliness we've had the displeasure of this week, this from susan comanllins migh take the cake. >> are you confident that the president won't seek foreign assistance again? >> i believe that the president has learned from this case. got a grant from the olympic committee to go to the winter olympics to make some films, short films. and they decided to take that opportunity to make a feature film at the olympics, based on an experience that alexei had had when she met a doctor, volunteer doctor. and at the mcolympics and he hi on her, and she had a boyfriend at the time so nothing happened. and they said what if this blossomed as a romance? so they brought me in, and we sculpted the outline into a script, and then we went to the olympics. and because we were, had been sponsored by the olympic committee itself, we had carte blanche to go anywhere inside of the olympic games and be inside of the athletes' village, in the dining hall, in the med center, in the dorms, in the athletes' lounges and everywhere that you never get to see with the

olympics. and we shot a feature film, that's a very sweet story about alexei's character who is a cross-country skier and my character who is a volunteer dentist, and they are two people sort of lost in the world. and they find each other and have lik a very sweet story, all under the backdrop of the olympics and all the majesty and amazing -- >> jimmy: not just backdrop, were you in the middle of the village while the athletes were preparing to compete in the olympics. >> yeah. >> jimmy: and you used various people in the movie. so guys were getting ready to bob sle bobsled, you then said hey, do you want to be in the movie? >> yeah. there was no crew. just me, jeremy and alexei. the three of us made the whole movie. so we would grab athletes. all the other actors in the movie are winter olympic athletes. so i would be in the dentist chair, because my, as the dentist, i would be giving

people dental exams and interviewing them about their experiences, and alexei would run into the cafeteria and be like hey, do you want to be in a movie with nick kroll? and they're like, we don't know who that is. >> jimmy: he's the guy with the small penis! >> exactly. they would come down and i'd be interviewing them. we would be shooting scenes and people didn't know we were shooting because there's just the two of us. no lights, no crew. so we would be having this very emotional scene about where we were in our relationship. and because i was dressed as a volunteer at the olympics, people would just come up to me and be like hey, do you know where the gym is? and i'd be in the middle of, i don't know what i'm doing, yeah, you want to make a right. but it ultimately made the movie so much more -- >> jimmy: i don't know if anybody's ever done anything like that before. >> it was pretty crazy. >> jimmy: very intrusive. you must be a favorite at the olympics. these are the beds they're going to be using in tokyo.
