>> including some personalized pillows. >> there's some interesting pillows on that table over there. >> we have a lot to get to. we want to start with the latest on the novel coronavirus and those americans who are going to be evacuated from that cruise ship over in japan. abc's maggie rulli following the latest overnight, maggie, good morning to you. >> reporter: dan, good morning. people on board say they only found out about these evacuations hours ago and now in less than 24 hours the u.s. embassy says they are going to have a plane here and they'll be ready to take any american would wants to showing no signs of the virus, they'll take them off that boat, put them on that plane and through them back to the u.s. once there they will be stuck in another 14 days of quarantine. now, we also have to remember more than 23 americans have already tested positive for the virus on this boat. they are going to have to stay here in japan and get treatment at local hospitals. more than 285 people on board who have tested positive for the virus. 64 more cases announced today making this boit the largest

cluster of the new coronavirus outside of mainland china and that is why people are taking this quarantine so seriously. in the u.s., authorities are really starting to crack down on the virus and start testing for covid-19 in five major u.s. cities and test anyone who appears to have flu-like symptoms. the government in the u.s. insists this is not a reason to panic, simply a precaution and trying to stop the spread of an outbreak like that happening in the u.s. >> whit. >> all right, maggie rulli for us in japan reporting in on the latest on the coronavirus and incredible those passengers have to go to quarantine again when they get to the united states. maggie, our thanks to you. we want to turn to significant developments in two high-profile cases at the justice department. the doj has hired an outside prosecutor to review the case of former national security adviser michael flynn. the move comes as flynn who pleaded guilty to lying to the fbi filed a motion last month to

dismiss the case. meanwhile, federal prosecutors close an investigation where they declined to charge former fbi deputy director andrew mccabe accused of allegedly lying to investigators about a leak to the media. now to a tentative agreement between the u.s. and the taliban. the pentagon says the deal right now is to reduce violence in afghanistan for seven days. if that is successful, the u.s. and the taliban would sign a peace deal that would lead to troop withdrawal all in exchange for the taliban's commitment to not allow afghanistan to be a safe haven for terrorism. >> a lot on the line. those negotiations. coming up, parents in the palace, kate, the duchess of cambridge, getting candid about raising her children in an upcoming podcast episode. what we're learning in our "gma" cover story. and still ahead, ready to pounce on those presidents' day deals? when to buy and when to wait to save big bucks this holiday weekend.

we go back in with our chicken on top of our broth and our lemon and our garlic. so that goes in first, inside up. then we're going to go in with our potatoes. this is -- these are beautiful fingerling potatoes. again, it's all about testing and choosing the right size here. we found this size here are really ideal and should go on top of the chicken so this all goes on top here. we layer that in. if you're smart about it and set it up ahead of time you'll get great results on the other end. so literally this goes on here. we lock it in place. cooks on high pressure for nine minutes. >> that is it? >> nine minutes. >> wow. >> nine minutes. >> and dinner. >> exactly. the prep work we did there, nine minutes, we do the quick release, and then we come over here, and you can see we've got gorgeous potatoes. all those lemon slices have softened and given up tons of flavor to the sauce. >> the flavor is amazing. >> amazing, right? it's all the concentrated stuff coming out, and so we're going to finish it with some sliced olives. >> that's the mediterranean feel. >> yeah, exactly.
